>>62066772That’s now what happened, Trump negotiated the withdrawal date before he left office and for some reason the US just sat around instead of packing up before said date and didn’t leave until about two months after. I assume they didn’t expect the Taliban to take control again so quickly but still, it was a several month long process that saw them retake power, there was no excuse as to why the US was caught with its pants down and violated a clear agreement. The Taliban even acted nice and didn’t attack the airport on our way out.
