Why do most people say “bull markets over, time to pack the bags” why don’t they trade in a bear market?

Normies live in fear of bear markets, and will only buy in after bull markets have been sustained for several years (i.e. the top). Then they panic again and sell when the market corrects, they lose a ton of money which reinforces their fear of bear markets, then they blame the jews or their boomer parents or the bots on /biz/ for their own foolish actions.

Trading a bear market is effectively gambling.
Most people are in for a slow, guaranteed return. Not gambling
