I graduated in 2017 with my BSME and I make mid 200s in a normal year and I push 300 in a good year. The interview process is really a personality match, they either like your vibe or they think you’re a loser. After a few interviews you should find a company that likes you, again, unless you’re autistic or ugly. I’m not a handsome guy by any means but I’m /fit/ and clean looking for reference.

I grew up dirt fucking poor and graduated from a random state school, but I was able to convince a company that I’m some extroverted rich guy just like them. You def don’t want to come off high IQ because sales people hate smart people. Once you’re hired on, you’re good since you’ll have your own account(s) to deal with and, because you’re not a typical sales retard, you’ll easily hit quota and have job security. At my current job they took me out for drinks to meet me once I got hired on and they never invited me out ever again (I told them I don’t drink and I stayed quiet the whole time when in reality I do drink on occasion; I just hate the rich chad/stacy types and didn’t want to pretend I liked them).
