How long do you think it'll be until the government is forced to step in and regulate AI due to the job losses?

It's just mind boggling that hundreds of thousands of people are being laid off, many of them with higher education, and now are competing with the already tough job market that has made entry level careers non existent.

In my eyes, this leads to UBI or mass starvation, there's no in between.
>>
Not a single job has been lost to AI
>>
do these numbers include non-us? irrelevant
us companies, even those with large layoffs, don't shrink much. they keep hiring at the same time

My company used to outsource stuff like checking reviews for insults or handling low-level complaints
It's now done by AI, with better results
>>
>>62071837
It does, oracle just laid off 30k people like the screenshot says, but it's worldwide, not only in the us
Also they're blaming AI but it's just an excuse

correct. But this is just a thinly veiled libtard thread. that basically says
>WUAHHHHHHH job market weak p-please FEB BAIL US OUT we DONT CARE ABOUT TOMORROW WE WANT MONIES NOW
the retards still dont get that ZIRP is dead and the fed is no longer an socialist insurance but a referee and the Boomer era is over
>>
>>62071871
Oh I get it, you’re a pol retard yourself so you see politics in everything

You see, the economy is just a simple reward and punishment mechanism. You punish with taxes and reward with subsidizing. If you do it enough, youget more of the desired behavior and less of the undesirable behavior. This is why we subsidize rich people and tax poor people.

You have not gotten the memo. The 60 year generational cycle is over. The only question that now remains is not if the fed injects liquidity to save wall street, but if the government has to default or learns fiscal responsibility

>WUAHHHHHHH job market weak p-please FEB BAIL US OUT we DONT CARE ABOUT TOMORROW WE WANT MONIES NOW
Trump giving welfare to AI and tech companies is fine but when people get fired and want a return on their tax it's suddenly bad?
