I will be inheriting 350 000€.

I'm freaking the fuck out. It's totally undeserved. I was supposed to get a lot less, but an older family member wants to give me her share because we have a good relationship. Some property is also being sold and the money split up, so i'm also getting a portion of that. All that amounts roughly to 350 000.

I don't fucking know what to do. I'm in a free euroshit college and live with my parents. I'm fucking inheriting generational wealth and I have never felt so nervous in my entire life even though I should be ecstatic.

I told my closest friend and I already regret it. He's worked so hard to have a life he can be proud of and his family situation is shit and while he was supportive and said I'm really lucky, it was clear he was shaken up and envious. I'm a spoiled fag who has always gotten everything in life. Mom always bought me whatever I wanted and now I will inherit money that will set me up for life. I'm not a good person or anything.

What do I do now? etf?

For a 22 year old it is.

Are you a literal 10/10 chad? No? Then don’t fret it.
Luck is part of life, and all the “hurr durr you didn’t earn it is a cope”
I will only get pissed at lucky people if they start telling other people “the secrets of winning” and try to rationalize their luck so they can sleep better at night.
You didn’t do anything wrong, why would you even feel bad
>>

It's certainly not a little amount in my slav shithole for a 22yo

It's good you're grateful. On Monday, put about 50% of it into 7DTE SPY puts as a medium term investment.

Financial advisor not 4chan
>>
>>62073887
Just buy a global index fund/ETF and try not to touch it. I know it’s going to be tempting to use *some* of it for something, but seriously don’t unless it’s something directly in line with your long-term life goals; something like a house in a place you want to live for a while. Because you’re young and probably not ready to settle down, I really do recommend keeping to money away and not touching it.
>>
Put it in an index fund and forget about it. Do NOT blow it on stupid shit. Do NOT tell any more people about your money.
>>
>>62073914
>Financial advisor
>"Invest in broad market funds. That'll be 2% + tip thanks"
Lmao. It's 350k euro bucks. Going to a financial advisor with that kind of chump change is like going to the Rolex store to buy a Swatch. FA's are for dumb nepo babies that inherited 8 figures to get killed by some retard with a meme degree.
>>
You need to cut ties woth your loser friend ASAP. Do not even a penny to charity. Only spend on retarded personal items and experiences until you blow it all.
>>
>>62073887
If I were you, which I'm not lucky enough to be, I would focus all of my attention on ways to turn that 350k into enough money to live a wealthy lifestyle for the rest of my life. That's what the current version of financialized capitalism is built for, making money out of money and it's much easier to do than you think. I would also never tell anyone about the inheritance.
>>
>>62073953
Also don't get a financial advisor, you can learn all of that stuff yourself. Insane waste of money like others have pointed out

First, calm down - take a deep breath in man. At 22, 350k will truly set you leagues above many, many people but ONLY if you stay calm and act rationally. First, take 5% of it - that's 17 500€, get all your stupid fantasies out of your system with that money - that's a lot of money to blow, but it's only 5%. THEN
>>62073914
Get the fuck off 4chan and go to a financial advisor who can help you put in place a long term plan.
>>62073918
>and try not to touch it
This, absolutely this.
>im unemployed and need to pay rent
dont touch
>I really want x
do not touch it

Do Not Touch It.
>emergency happens
Is it life threatening? Touch it. Isn't life threatening? DO NOT touch it.

If you can manage to not fuck this up, you will retire a happy man. God speed anon.

Buy three apartments, rent them out for ±1500 per month, and your mortgage, basic needs are covered for life. If you ever will need money, you can sell those apartments later in life and get more money back. Don't blow this up on stupid crypto or risky investments, you're lucky.

some people will say yolo into growth. it makes sense for someone your age with family support, but all in at once has some opportunity cost risk. i like to suggest up to 6 months cash emergency savings, enough dividend/dividend growth to cover basic expenses so youre not fucked if youre ever unemployed, then after that you can yolo the rest into growth.

Inheritance Lawfag reporting. Here is my advice:

1. Do not tell anyone. Unfortunately, people will treat you differently if they find out you receive a financial windfall. They will start asking you to “invest” in their harebrained schemes, assume you will pick up the tab when you go out, and just be generally butthurt toward you. Keep your inheritance a secret.

2. Hire a financial planner. You want somebody who is a “fiduciary.” When you interview them, you need to ask “are you a fiduciary?” If the answer is no, then move on. Once you hire a planner, explain what your goals are and ask them to invest your money for you. Some anons will probably say it is not worth hiring a planner and you should just put your money into an index fund. This is not necessarily bad advice, but given how volatile the market is right now, I would want professional guidance.

3. Don’t change your lifestyle. Pretend like you did not inherit this money. €350k is a nice chunk of change, but it really isn’t that much money spread over a lifetime. This money *can* change your life and your descendants lives, but only if you let it grow. Resist the urge to consume it. An analogy I like to tell my clients is pretend someone has given you a baby tree. You can chop that tree down and get some cash for the lumber right away, OR you could plant the tree and wait until the tree starts giving you fruit. You can sell the fruit and the tree will always produce more, but if you sell the tree you will have nothing left to sell. Meditate on this.

Good luck OP.

>350 000€
>crazy amount of money
it's not bad, but mate, you won't be doing much with that money outside of a shithole country.

anyway

old advice used to be,
1/3 in land, 1/3 in gold, 1/3 in cash
or
1/5 in (farm)land, 1/5 in house, 1/5 in gold, 1/5 in cash & 1/5 invested in bank

that is to say, have it invested in something that brings you safe money (rental, etf, bonds), something a bit riskier, but with normally higher returns (individual stocks & shares, bitcoin mining farm, venture capital,...), some in real estate (rental covers it partly, but you also need to live somewhere), some in "precious metal" (gold, silver, btc, eth,...), and some in disposable cash - can't buy drugs & hookers with tesla shares.

what you should do depends on your situation a lot.
gold / btc is good if you need to be on the move & potentially run out of the country.
stocks & shares (go with etf first) are good for income, and given that you're young, you can survive a few crashes fine
rentals are good for guaranteed income and appreciation, but depending on regulations there are other investments that may be better.

whatever it is, i'd suggest you make a plan, make sure you'd be diversified, and then look into a financial advisor. their financial advice isn't always great, but at the very least, they will be able to tell you about rules and regulations, and how to navigate that. I would definitely not expect to spend more than 1% of any money. If 1k€ doesn't cover it, then 350k€ isn't a lot of money at all where you are, so try not to spend it all in a year.

NO ONE should know about your wealth unless you have to coordinate financial decisions with them, and even then, only the bare minimum that is necessary.
Also, depending on which euroshithole you live in and who your friend tells, it's very likely you will be stuffed into a suitcase or down a toilet by this time next week. Fucking idiot

terrible advice

First off east europe has terrible demographics, in 10-15 years your apartment investments will be worth half the price you pay now
Second, a lot of those countries have a Very High chance of being taken over by Russia, and your apartments will either get bombed or taken over by the new Russian managerial class that will arrive to govern you and those guys need it to be worth their time

If you're an eastern euro slav investing in your doomed shithole is the worst mistake you can make
>>
>>62073887
Invest it.
>>
>>62074360

May be in 2050 they will take the control of the village of shitholivka and then Kyiv around 2080
>>

If you are in shittiest of EU country that amount will last under 20 years. thats only if you live like poorfag eat potatos and basedflakes.

>>62073972
100k€ apartment can be rented out for 500-700€/month.
atleast half of that goes to maintanance and taxes.
small changes between areas and countries but in general 100k€ apart pays itself in 20-25 years if interestrates are under 2%.
>>
>>62074420

at best you can have 5% net on your 100K apartment

Retired at 25 here.
You definitely want a wealth manager lol.

Either buy real estate if you certain you want to live in this place in the future, preferably something generates cash flow (house with multiple units where you use one for yourself)

Or put into a nice portfolio and let it work
>>
>>62074120

are normies really like this?
>>
>>62074549
A wealth manager would only be worth it if you're mentally ill and have a problem with liquidating everything every time Current Thing happens. Otherwise, just an unnecessary drain and OP doesn't seem retarded enough to benefit from it.
>>
>>62074599
slavshits are normies on steroids

if he really get these 350k (i doubt it) he will spend them in less than 10 years in the most stupid things you can imagine

like an audi rsq8, breitlings, trips to dubai etc...
>>
>>62074425
read it again pls. then look in the mirror and tell your self how low iq you have.
>>
>>62073887
Invest most or half in diverse bonds. Swiss is one solid option. Do various countries, not all in Europe.

Invest the other portion in gold, silver, and if you want some risk, a very small fraction in LINK and Tesla.
>>
>>62073887
Buy at least 100k worth of PM so you won't lose all of it to inflation. You can always sell it later if you need the money. Also buy your parents a nice gift--if they are good people, or give them enough money so they can go on holiday.

Also never fucking tell anyone about your money again.
>>
>>62074539
holy fuck you are retarded manchild.
service is not because doing it is hard. it is for what he can save for you. if you don't want to know about wealt you pay someone to take care of it just like you would pay someone to fix your car. you can do it your self but it takes time.
you must be poor to think time is worthless.
