Is it worth the cost?

What the fuck are they driving that costs them a million dollars over their lifetime a fucking tank? Rent out your fully paid off $900k house for additional income and rent an apartment in town instead, get married at the church for $1000, and drive a Corolla. There I solved it

>American dream costs $5m for a household
>Median individual with bachelor's is $2.8m
So basically the median college educated couple can afford the American dream. And if you're above the median you're even safer

Do I have this right?

>Retirement
This will vary from individual to individual based on how nigger rich you want to live. Based on this number it seems like you want to be king nigger.
>healthcare
I don't pay for it.
>owning a home
Costs roughly $250k to purchase a 3bed 2bath house here, just don't want to do it.
>raising two children and paying for college
I got my bachelor's for like 7k out of pocket. How you're spending the other $860k on 2 kids is beyond me. I guess they will be quite spoiled.
>Owning a new car
I paid $1 for my Kia (on paper) and have only bought oil, spark plugs, ignition coils, and tires for it since then.
>Yearly vacation
The fuck? I go to visit family in PA once per year so all said and done probably like $1k a year here max.
>Pets
I own 1 betta fish who cost like $10? I want to say. I haven't run out of food for him yet, which cost about $4.
>Wedding
I didn't pay for it. Her parents did. It want anywhere near that
Sounds like you are just a poorfag or a rich nigger OP

> send out some retards hit like this with a bunch of random numbers like 900k for new cars
> retards can't math so it looks legit
> somehow all this and a 40k wedding (that no modern woman would put up with because they'll screech and become bridezilla because they wanted a "fairytale wedding" that cost 200k for some reason)

retarded retard shit.
>>
>>62075027
>new car
i think the point is it's only "new" for a couple years, so you constantly have to take a massive equity loss on your 3 year old car and trade it in for a brand new one every 3 years until you die

I'll just take cold medicine unless it's literally life threatening, then be like a mexican and refuse to pay- what Doctor Pajeet gonna do?
>retirement
HAHAHAHA
>owning a home
>957K
Only one that might be 100% necessary but I'm not going to be living in the new york suburbs or los angeles county, you can in fact still buy houses for 250k in areas that are 90% white in the midwestern mid-tier cities, no reason to live in 80% browntown and pay max penalities for doing so.

What the fuck are these completely imaginary numbers?
900k for a house??
900k FOR A CAR???

>400k house
>roof will need to be replaced every 20 years
>AC every 15
>tens to hundreds of thousands in general maintenance
>insurance/elsctric/water/property tax cost for 50 years

Easily 1 million
>>
>>62077393
250k for a house
Roof costs around 15k to completely replace
<2k/yr for property tax
General maintenance is not that expensive at all. Really only need to do water heater and ac maint every few years.
>Including utilities in the cost of a house
retard alert

350 including property tax
30k assuming you have to replace the roof twice, which is pretty unlikely.
380k
We'll call it 450k.
Nowhere close to your retard numbers.
>>
>>62077425
Where the fuck do you live or what kind of shitbox has 2k in property tax?

Have you ever dealt with insurance companies? Especially a high risk area like FL or TX? Do you understand they will refuse to insure you if your house fails a 4 point inspection? I outright own a mcmansion in FL and the annual cost is roughly 25k (i throw in wiggle room for general maintenace and monthly bills) Thats with ZERO mortgage

This is the realty for most people in the US. 1 mil easily for the average 2000sq ft house with a 30 year mortgage
>>
>>62077425
And absolutely include utilities in the cost of home ownership. You're looking at 400/mo easy assuming you dont live in some manufactured shithole or commieblock and thats including a bare minimum internet connection with NO CABLE

The house makes sense, you buy a $300,000 house with 20% down and pay a total of $300,000 in interest on the 240k. Add in you have to pay the the entire appraised value every 30 years in taxes plus repairs and maintenance which will be between 40k - 80k for roof, HVAC and remodels, you are around that number. But cars that is retarded and just not true.
>>
>>62081148
Plus since you got a mortgage you have to insure it which is a scam by the way.
I run a CRE business and we don’t insure any of the residential because it’s stupid, we only insure the retail and industrial because the tenants pay it and they are nationals/global with a ton of rules in their leases

it's a good deal because you don't have to pay for it for 427 months, you get a new car every 2 years instead and treat it as a $600/month car subscription service

Replaced my central AC for 3k, tree fell on roof and smashed a hole through it, 4K to fix it.
Last time I've done maintenance hat required replacing something was back when the pipes froze from -20°F weather. Replaced the copper pipes with PEX pipes, that was 6 years ago.
Of course, were I to do any of this for YOU, I'd charge out the ass because I love making enough from a single job that I don't have to work for the rest of the year.
