I’m in my first year of law school, and did really well my first semester at a top 25 school but didn’t apply to anything Big Law related because I didn’t think that’s what I wanted to do. But as time has gone on I’m realizing I’m gonna graduate with 200k in debt across undergrad and law school and I’m wondering if I made a mistake. With how insanely early Big Law hiring time tables has gotten is it just over should I change my mind? Or is 200k not that bad if I live cheap the first few years after graduation and focus on paying it off?
>>62077025Are you fucking retarded? Why didn't you secure a back up plan lmao
>>62077031Because why would I apply for a job I’m not sure that I want? Also I wasn’t sure how well I’d do first semester and with Big Law you have to apply and network before grades come out, and I just couldn’t bring myself to act like a monkey messaging and cold emailing strangers if it might all be for nothing if I got bad grades
>>62077035What were you planning to do once you got your license?
You are a parasite your work is fake, your life is fake, the world doesn't need you.
>>62077037I’d like to work in environmental or energy law. Before coming to law school I was working as a field technician for nature preserves which was a lot of fun but paid very little and I couldn’t really see a career in it.
>>62077048so look into how viable that is and make decision accordingly?
The world is fake anonJust stack paper. 15 quality earning years should net you enough to retire comfortably. That should be 1 mil in retirement accounts and another mil in your brokerage
>>62077025ngmi buddy
Suck 20,000 cocks, charge them 10 dollars each because you're a top 25 lawyer and thus your dicksucking skills are top 25.
>>62077025I got 100k in loans forgiven by the government and I'm going to school again using the GI bill. They give me over 4k a month in Boston. You have to be retarded to not join
>>62077025$200k is a lot if you don't bust your ass to make over six figures.
