A bunch of economist are saying that inflation will spike up.
Others say that we are heading into deflation.

inflation and deflation not possible at the same time retard, stagflation is another thing, god you niggers get dumber everytime i visit this pos site
>>

deflation seems very unlikely given the enormous amount of money in the system and widespread demand for basic goods

> Experts say
Don't even listen. Make up your own mind. They tell you what they want you hear. And it stays there in the back of your head, distorting your own pure thoughts.

economics is applied human psychology i.e, it's pure nonsense.

Ill make this simple for you OP since you seem like a 97IQer

Your money is getting less valuable by the year, rather ithe economy is inflating or stagflating is temporary and often irrelevant long term

Periodically speculation will run rampant and make some asset worth considerably more valuable then it should be

Ita upto you to decide where value is
>>
its simple

everyone around me is getting laid off

deflation is coming

You seem upset.

If energy prices remain high for long periods of time things like gas, groceries, utilities and other essential consumables will go up in price. Because of this, people will have less cash for discretionary spending, so luxurious goods, home renovations, going out to eat and other "fun" activities will decline. When these things decline people will get laid-off. When people get laid-off less good and services are being produced, but people are also receiving government benefits around 50% of what they were originally making at their job.

This is where the wheat is separated from the chaff. Those that have saved up a lot of cash, have little or no debt and have low expenses will generally be able to handle the storm. Those that have lived paycheck to paycheck, have a lot of debt and have high expenses will be financially liquidated. Many of them will lose their cars, their homes, etc.

My mom and I are already planning on moving out of our apartment and moving back into my dad's house this year because things are just slowly getting worse and worse every year. The company I work for has been having serious problems because nobody is renovating their houses/apartments anymore, while simultaneously we can't compete with Chinese and Mexican prices anymore.

dollars = fake
goods = real
why should the fake thing steadily rise in value relative to the real thing? should it not be the other way around?
