Did 10/10 destroy crypto for good? I don't see how, but a lot of people are saying that.
>>
Don't remind of it. I bought $500 of Arbitrum thinking altcoins would recover soon. I'm down $300.

10/10 what?

On 10/10 there was a massive liquidation event due to binance manipulating a stable coin, this rekt a ton of market makers and almost every single crypto dumped. pic related is Sui, which dropped 80% over the course of 1 hour. If you look at most charts, you'll see a similar candle.
>>
>>62078699
Maybe people will learn their lesson and stop trusting suspicious actors like binance? The fact that they would do something like this was too obvious years ago. More marketmakers will emerge.
>>

Yes, although it's an echo event from the FTX collapse. By helping CZ liquidate Sam, crypto natives eliminated the counterbalance to Binance. They failed to hold CZ accountable and in the aftermath Binance consolidated total control. 10/10 was the most blatant manipulation event in the history of crypto and there was barely a peep out of an industry ostensibly built to resist manipulation from centralized parties. That was truly the sign that it was over and that crypto has become fully co-opted.
>>62078746
Binance and their co-conspirators control vast quantities of the supply for all major cryptocurrencies.
>>
>>62078899
I guess it's already time to start creating a parallel crypto ecosystem separated entirely from all of this.
>>
>>62078686
Between that and the Trump meme coin yeah it put a hurting on crypto but no it didn't destroy it but what it will do is send a lot of alts to new all time lows during this bear market and will slow the next bull market.

What timeframes are you thinking for the next cycle?

good luck, among other issues you will run into the "distribution problem", the question of getting your token supply split between enough honest actors. a problem that has plagued every coin since inception, including bitcoin and ether. the industry has tried airdrops and work-for-tokens, without success, because those systems are gamed and people must sell, and the most interested parties are exchanges. It could have been different if, from the beginning, people could exchange real money directly for cryptocurrrency without an intermediary, but that was muzzled quickly and short-sightedly by the government, which allowed grey market actors like Binance and Tether to move into the gap and become the behemoths we now know.

Yes, for sure.

$40B+ in long positions (people that believed in crypto) were liquidated in a single hour, with all that money going to the pockets of short positions, insiders of the Trump administration, and to CZ and the chink cartel (Justin Sun, GarretBullish, Bybit, MEXC, ...).

>the attack began the moment Trump posted more threats about tarrifs
>ten days later, CZ received the presidential pardon
>not even a single investigation was conducted into the events of that day

I guess that what we get for puting a criminal in charge...

crypto has failed in principle, as an investment, and as a gamble, you'd have better odds in a casino. all that's left are criminals and brainless monkeys like you
