I want to own some Hyperliquid HYPE in my Metamask. Copying the contract id for the token on Uni swap and querying it in MetaMask, I see I can swap to it, but it's a "Wormhole" version of the coin. How legit is it? If I buy this version am I going to find the value destroyed years from now while HYPE is still going strong? I don't know anything about this shit
>>
it's an iou I guess. For longterm holding you should swap it for hype on hyperevm with the wormhole bridge thing

Change now dot io and you send another gryfto and they swap with hype and send it to another wallet of your choice. I swap sol for bnb all the time

I'm and moran. I finally found the way to swap to native HYPE on hyperevm in meta. I now have big hype stacks both in meta and in my brokerage (through a swedish etc contract)
