While they may well permanently reduce their intake, I doubt alcohol is completely out of the game. Kind of like shopping malls. If you are more square, classical never really goes out of style. It just stays very niche because it's highly technical. When you are ready to learn how the fuck the instrument you are holding actually works it's time to get into the great composers. You can transpose nearly all the piano work on to anything else. I'm far too square for Goth Fishing or even dating at all but the few times I've tried music and socialization I get compliments on my original compositions, have had my audiences crying with sad originals, have attracted festival chicks, etc. I'm just to odd to close the deal. And or my home life is just too hostile to bring anybody home to that mess. I have a very silly idea to go out to LA or some other city and play classical music for the cocktail bars.
