I wouldn't want to be a middle manager. Having to listen to people bitch about their lives so I can make accomodations for them sounds awful. I would take the title if it allowed me to just do the work. I just don't want to do the management part of it.

He was supposed to modernize 5/3rd's IT and manage directors with 30 years of experience, his dad is some high up in another department.Guy did nothing for 2 years and got a role at Chase somehow after everyone basically bullied him. But they bullied him politely and couldn't really do shit.But I guess the point I am making is that those positions don't really exist for the most part.
