I get paid $130k to mess around with excel at home. How is this fair to the people who do back breaking labor?
>>62098494is it fair that the computer in your car doesn't get worn out like the tires and brakes
>>62098494laborfags literally cant comprehend exceldifferent species of ants
>>62098494what's your role tho
>>62098494dermatologist makes 600k to see 6-10 patients a day. life is what you make of it.
>>62098570>dermatologist makes 600k to see 6-10 patients a day.so every patient is worth 60k dollars? that can't be right
>>62098576you were born feet first
>>62098576I need to stop coming to this board
>>62098494lefties still havent recovered from this day
>>62098576Dermatologist also go through a shitload of school and don’t make money until their mid 30s and 40s. Gotta maximize the best you can but also limit the schooling.
>>62098494I can use excel, sometimes I mess around making spreadsheets for games I play. how do you get an excel job? I work at a super market....
>>62098617Have you tried a temp agency? They can give you a skills test and will promote you to employers if you pass.
what is value? When a year of digging a ditch makes produces 50k of real world value and a year of tinkering in excel produces 300k of real world value it's not surprising who gets paid more. physically difficult and economically productive are not correlated. It's also why if you're not a room tempie you go into a high paid field like legal, medicine, tech, finance.
>>62098494Everyone market their skills the best they can. There is no law that says that one should be paid objectively more or less than the other.
>>62098494I get paid 175k and refuse to use excel
>>62098533This is literally the answer.
>>62098584He was born sideaways
>>62098494I get paid $0 and i'm posting here all day
>>62098494life of the stupid blue collar wagie is rough
>>62098494>>62098533>>62101265at this point i don't think that's the barrier, though it might've been ten years agoif it is, how do i get paid a fraction of that amount to mess around with excel? i think i comprehend it pretty well, i remember many of the shortcuts etc
>>62098494The barrier to entry to back breaking labour is low, using excel requires some cognition. Also many skilled tradesmen out earn you. Doesn’t matter anyway, it’s Q2 2026 and Claude can produce convincing spreadsheets already, the clock is ticking
>>62103053>it’s Q2 2026 and Claude can produce convincing spreadsheets already, the clock is tickingLLMs are a parlor trick and unless the faggot LLM companies come up with something better (they won't) it's not going to be sustainable
it's amazing they've lasted this longthe most impressive shit they do isn't technological, it's manipulating the public & the government into being brand ambassadors
>>62098494It's not, and in fact if I was dictator I would cut wages from a lot of those cushy jobs, often the one's that roasties have, and give that money to manual labor wagies.
>>62098508comparing people to parts in a car is actually disgusting. find jesus.
