Have any of you guys ever worked for a company you considered to be morally abhorrent? How did you decide on it? And has having it on your resume held you back at other jobs?Trying to make a decision based on a recent offer
>>62102636I was in the Navy under King Nigger. I got out as soon as I could and disconnected from everyone and everything related to it.
>>62102636I work for myself and I'm fuxking twizted
>>62102636I used to work for BlackRock
>>62102636Currently working for a company bought by a Giant Evil Company. Don't do it. Even if it seems fine in your little corner, there's something in the way these people manipulate leaders to make everyone as soul-sucking as possible. It's seriously like a Satanic death cult. Not posting where I work obviously.
>>62102636>firstUS army. Didn't care. GI Bill and VRE muh bennies.>secondlyIV Bar and wellness thing. 99% of what we did was placebo or straight bullshit. It only helps if you're legit dehydrated or hungover. >thirdlyUS "healthcare" for anybody > 65 years old. It's like working in an Amazon warehouse but it's old people. I hate boomers and wish them eternal suffering, so if the caregivers that I train (Twaneesha and Hernando) beat them like they're the protagonist in an 80's Kung Fu movie I have no moral qualms. And if my agency has to, say, effectively torture a 90 year old woman to death because her family said she "was a fighter" or whatever cope, again, no issues--you raised your children to be retarded and have 0 life or coping skills (or just hate you) so I'll happily subject you to multiple surgeries, intubation, chest tubes, an ICU admission, and slowly massacre your bodily form until it resembles ground beef in the name of keeping you alive at all costs because Americans are evil retards and don't know how to die. I am paid well to torture the elderly to death but, like, they literally ask for it so I can't be that upset.

>>62102636I work for the city, I've met some truly horrifying demons working here. They infest all government, small to large.
>>62102638tru tru times are so much better now under our podcast president. thx for your service senpuku
>>62102636i work in corporate at a major health insurer
>>62102636Aye told them shit gonna change today or there will be consequences and they fired me lol
AstraZeneca didn't know at the time, but witnessing the cancer trials on animals made me depressed (10k+ mice would die in some experiments). Realizing that they made billions in profit off single drug products off of a business like that made me incredibly depressed and existential. Luckily I was able to get laid off with severance right before I was going to quit. Wouldn't do it again, but I'm glad for the direction it pushed me in.
>>62102636Not me, but my brother worked for some online company doing those free ipad survey sites or whatever it is. Not only were the sites rigged and scammy, he found out that basically everybody in the small company was scamming each other. Like the guy he worked directly under was faking the data he sent to the company head.My bro got kinda depressed realizing his job and the entire operation was complete bullshit, since he was essentially just organizing fake data and replying to emails.
>>62102636US Army.
>>62103050>ArmyAt least you're not another retard that pretends it was a noble choice>IV BarI've done work in one or two of these places, and none of the staff could really "sell" me on it lol. They had people with a weekly or biweekly schedule coming in>US HealthcareI don't understand how every boomer acts like they'd kill themselves before going into a nursing home, but there's millions of them in the system. Also they're so drugged out or mentally eroded while there, what's the point of burning all your assets to "live" at that point.
