I will soon come into possession of 50k euro. It's a decent amount in my shithole. Unfortunately no one teaches kids here about compound interest and investing, so people grow up illiterate in those matters, your truly included. Now, I work and make enough for pretty much anything I need. I don't have loans, mortgages, credit cards. I own my home fully. I have a car and don't care about a new one desu, so I'd never spend money on that. What should I do with the 50k? What would you do? Is it worth investing some or all of it and in what?I thought about spending several thousand on travelling business class around Europe for a couple of months and seeing a bunch of countries I've always wanted to check out (before you sperg out, business class is very cheap cross continent in the EU). Other than that I'm open to suggestions.

>>62103496This is the stupidest thing you can do with windfall money. You’re gonna burn out your dopamine receptors in the first week, after that your behavior will escalate and you’ll burn more money seeking the same thrill. When you’re eventually broke and have to come home, regular life will feel bland and desaturated.Go on one week trips every year for four years with the same money. You’ll have a much better time and your money will go a lot farther. As for the rest of the money, fold it into a retirement account for tax advantaged growth. All in US stocks for now, then into a target date fund when you hit forty or so.
>>62103496Nigger. You have a once in a lifetime opportunity to win at life. Do you really wanna blow it on muh travel like a retarded teenage whore? Just put everything into an ETF of your choice and forget it ever existed. 20 years from now you will want to suck current (you)s dick for such foresight. The reason the faggots on here are barely scraping by despite compound interest being a thing is that they don't have enough starting capital. You don't have that problem, so don't waste the opportunity.
