i thought fossil fuels were bad? higher prices = less fossil fuels burned = better world.
>>
>>62107758
>Uh checkmate liberals, you said fossil fuels were bad, but now that we've literally paid to kill wind and solar power and now we don't have gas either you're complaining that now we have nothing?
>>
>>62107766
fossil fuels are bad for the environment. states have tried to phase out ICE cars. raised gas taxes, etc.

>now that we've literally paid to kill wind and solar power
what does that have to do with gas prices?

Fuck nuclear. Dams are the future
>>
>>62107758
They are. Which is why it's a bad thing we're overly reliant on them now due to cheeto in chief's first term policies. Not the checkmate you think it is chuddy

>>62107754
Nobody asked you to vote for that. You are definitely getting what you did vote for though!
>>
>>62107766
Why the fuck won't they invest in modern nuclear? Isn't it the safest and most environmentally friendly form of energy available? I hear the problems are that it's hard to store (like all energy production) and ramp up and down, but surely they could use nuclear for our base energy needs?
>>62107839
Dams screw up the environment though. So do wind and solar farms. Modern reactors literally can't meltdown or something because they don't use the same fissile material, I'm not an expert on it (80iq) but this is the understanding I've gathered.

When Americans say "gas" they don't mean actual "gas" but "gasoline" but they are so lazy that they use "gas" instead of "gasoline" when it's not even a "gas"
>>
>>62107893
>modern nuclear

>The overall project is seven years late and $17 billion over budget.

Who cares poorfag
>>
>>62107893
I don’t really care about the “environment” side of dams, because 30 years later, the environment is adopted with a new ecosystem anyway.
And I mean, I get no one like noisy wind turbines, but seriously, for people who are SOOOOO pro oil and coal (that do shit ton of environment damage, pearl-clutching over a bunch of retarded bird dying is really grinding my gears)
Nuclear is great and I don’t even bother with the whole “meltdown” aspect.
As long as you have competent people in charge and built it safely, nothing gonna happen.
Also I know that nuclear is completely safe. nuclear waste are literally rocks, and you just need to bury them deep away from underground water sources , not the green goo in the simpsons (I think the Simpsons made whole generations of Americans anti nuclear by depicting how “unsafe” it is, Which is damn shame.)
The problem with nuclear is how fucking expensive of a project it is, and how much maintenance it requires.
But still, damns are build ones and done. You literally making free energy, there is almost no need for safety, and maintenance is hassle free and way cheaper than nuclear. I mean what’s easier than harnessing the potential energy of gravity?
Another great option for every single Northern European country, is geothermal. There is so much potential free energy they can run their entire country on it and even power the entire Europe with it.

ameridemons are extremely gullible, low iq, and evil all wrapped up in one, they deserve to suffer
>>
>>62108093
I don't know what the hell happened but Americans have become really emotional. They weren't like this in the past. Like what the hell happened to the strong silent type?

But you make a joke about gasoline and they lose their marbles, they even threaten you with dropping a nuke and wiping out civilizations. Weird
>>
>>62108221
What you're describing was an extremely small subset of people who were smart enough to stay quiet. Most Americans are extremely opinionated, emotional, and feel success is a zero-sum game where others must suffer for their victory. repeated crab-bucket incidents have driven many of them insane, and the lower bar to entry for the internet means more of them find their way to internet spaces they never would have known about previously from being so fragile.

>>62108105
Your brain can only handle small paradigms I know it's sad. If you try very hard and use all two of your braincells you can maybe understand why low energy costs can be advantageous to developing clean energy alternatives.

In less than two years beating and killing Trump supporters will not only be allowed, it will be encouraged. And that's a good thing. These vermin will never be forgiven and must never be.
