>>62111135well yeah, simplest way is to just buy the most popular cards and hold but you have to time the market right to get good deals. You can still make some money with some of the newer sets that just came out. The most popular one right now is called "Ascended Heroes" because it has the og Pikachu, Charizard, Dragonite, Gengar and Mewtwo cards in it. Other sets won't be as popular because they don't have popular Pokemon so avoid those, the value of a set depends heavily on what cards are in it so check TCGplayer for prices. If you can find boxes or packs of Ascended Heroes buy them ASAP. Retail price is supposed to be $5 a pack but market price is already $12 a pack and will just get higher over time. Within 3-5 years it will go to around $20-$40 a pack when Pokemon Company stops printing them and will just keep going higher
