the stock market. If it wasn't for the Fed's money printer everything would be cratering into the center of the earth right now.

>>62124084I'm an attorney and I can tell you that the average NPC is scammed by their insurance (healthcare, auto, etc., you name the insurance company and I'll tell you their scam) probably 95% of the time. The only times their not scammed is if they hire an attorney or get lucky (i.e., the facts of the NPC's claim line up magically to fit some insanely improbable scenario so that that the insurance company would rather pay out than risk being sued over it). It's really funny that personal injury attorneys get a bad rap with the general public (i.e. retards), which admittedly is warranted somewhat because a lot of "ambulance chaser" attorneys are greedy retards. However, PI attorneys are the only attorneys willing to take an NPC's case against insurance companies, which are trying to rip you off 100% of the time and most often succeed. Insurance companies' biggest weapon is advertising and propaganda, and they've done an amazing job demonizing attorneys. But if NPCs ever woke up (they won't) and realize "...Wait a minute, my insurance company isn't my friend! They make money by paying me less!" then maybe attorneys would become more likable. Maybe not. Anyways, yes - your insurance company is scamming you. If you ever need to file a claim, try to consult an attorney. And no, ChatGPT or Claude isn't going to save you, although they're better than nothing at all.
>>62128206>The only times theirThey're*. Excuse my spelling mistakes, it's Friday night and I'm drinking. But I really do feel bad for NPCs that think insurance companies and adjusters are their friends. God help you if you think an insurance adjuster is looking out for you. No offense to adjusters, they're just doing their jobs, but they literally get paid to fuck you over. The more they fuck you in the ass, the more they get paid. I promise you this is true. Insurance adjuster literally get bonuses for bending you over and going in raw.

>>62128380NTACar insurance costs me $220 every month. It should be $180, and I call every so often to remind them not to arbitrarily increase my premium, but they increase it every time after a few months have passed and they think I'm not paying attention. They do this by altering my information to arbitrarily increase the amount of miles I drive each year.I've been driving for 10 years. That's over $20,000.I had 1 incident that caused $3000 of damage. If I had not been forced to pay for insurance for 10 years I would have been able to not only afford the damage out of pocket, but been able to invest and grow that money.I get that the general population are retards that can't save money to cover emergency expenses, and that having damage to my property by one such retard will be covered by said retard's insurance. The current system is meant to protect (and milk) the retard so that his actions have very little consequences beyond an increased premium. In an ideal world I would simply pay a thug to break the retard's kneecaps until he pays for the damage he caused. Theoretically, the insurance company plays the role of the thug without the need for broken kneecaps, but if the money that would be paid to the insurance provider simply went straight to the individual inconvenienced/damaged by the retard it would only take a few months to cover the damage he caused. The scam is in the insurance company's relationship with the government where everyone is forced to participate regardless of their own financial security or risk levels. You are jewish.

>>62128380Additionally, insurance has drastically raised the cost of medical care by providing what amounts to a slush fund for hospitals to bill. This further incentivizes the insurer to avoid payouts wherever possible. It's economic waste just to pay the salaries of a bunch of middlemen.
