You need to have money to make money. If you can't afford to spare 10k to a 'potential 20x' crypto or stock, while still having enough left over you can park it into something slower growth like microsoft, you can't make it. Your 100k goes to 300k in 10~ years, but your 10k might be 200k and then yoou can turn 10% of that into 400k (or 0). But if you can't tank a 10k loss to potentially make a quarter million, you're not gonna make it at all.
