I've lost about $640k in crypto over the last six months or so. If I have to pay taxes to the government for making a good bet, why doesn't the government reimburse me for making a bad bet? Why does the government get all of my upside but none of my downside?
>>62134736>lost 640klol
>>62134736Only jews get to to privatize profits and publicize losses.
>>62134736>If I have to pay taxes to the government for making a good betYou don't. You only have to pay taxes on the gains you made from a sale. Don't sell, and you don't pay taxes. It was your choice to sell - you did this to yourself.>why doesn't the government reimburse me for making a bad betIt does. That's also your fault for not filling out your taxes correctly.
>>62134736>why doesn't the government reimburse me for making a bad betRetard-sama, I want you to google "form 8949" right now. You're gonna have to submit an amended return, which I would honestly hire a jew for so that you don't fuck that up too.
>>62134736are you implying cryptocurrency capital loses aren't real? because they totally are. if you've really got a 640k loss, then you won't be paying any taxes for a while.
>>62134736I voted for this
>>62134736You were given plenty of off-ramps. Aggressive stop losses and a stable third space to hold assets beats HODL bag holding. Think like the institutions if you want to beat them.
>>62134736Because you're not an oil executive.
>>62134736thanks for playing goykun
