you would have more money now if you had worked, saved, spent less than you earned, and invested in index funds instead of gambling your money on crypto

How can you save money if it all goes to bills?
I wasn't able to save money until I was in my 30s. In my 20s I was dirt poor and homeless part of the time.

>worked
I do

bills/rent/student loan repayments eats up 75% of my monthly salary
>spent less than you earned
I try, but see above
>invested in index funds instead of gambling your money on crypto
I have a 401K in addition to gambling on crypto, so I sort of do this one

Inflation over the last couple decades has been no joke. It's become almost impossible to support a family on one salary while also saving money.
