>he thought being paid $170k/yr to perpetually update a "web" "app" was a sustainable long term careerwhat other jobs are massively overvalued?
>>62137951It's not overvalued and unsustainable.Companies think it's overvalued and unsustainable because they're being led by idiots who know nothing and think AI is magic. It's dumb leaders with dumb money, wasting it on 365 copilot and claude subscriptions. The amount of human input you need just to generate a website is astounding even with the latest paid model.Yes I can code websites fast now but it takes me a long time because the AI doesn't know what to do. I have to sit with it because it doesn't know what I want. You have to chat with it to make stuff, it's not magic. These companies are firing people because they think it magically solves problems, it doesn't. You need web developers.
Literally no one in any given corporation is doing anything productive and you somehow complain about a group that does occasionally build productive things
>>62137951>$170k/USD per annum>overvaluedActually that's just keeping pace with like $60k from 2005.
i install machines, and i get to be extra worthless because the office people are extremely worthless...i basically only have to be 10% less worthless than they are...which is very easy.
