Why haven't you built a business yet?
>>62142375I can't be bothered / too much red tape / no start up capital / no idea that isn't already done / no idea that doesn't have a big capital or regulatory mote around it.
Finding an opportunity that can scale to a level of income that is acceptable (over 100k) quite quicklyStartup costs where applicable Time investment given an existing jobOngoing costs such as developers, marketing, hardware, inventory etc.Premises rent and suitability
>>62142375I have, why do you think I haven't?
>JUST START A BUSINESS BRO
I'm trying. After I paid for tax, hotel, travel, food, consumable supplies, software, insurance, website, not to mention the equipment that I had already been purchasing over the last few years... I'm still heavily in the red.If I didn't have a full time job and savings, I wouldn't be able to lose money working a second job.
>>62142375i have a job and make $150k wfh.the only way i'm starting a business is if it's something i can do from my home and it pays comparably. since i would have to pay my own payroll tax and health insurance and 401k match, that's probably like $200k/yr.
>>62142446I'm in the same boat. Can't really justify the opportunity cost, but then again I honestly work like 2 hours a day without bothering with commute, so I have a lot of free time. Not sure how to use this time productively besides just trying low cost online hustles or freelancing.
>>62142531>>62142446You guys are winning the economy in the current year, just dissociate and market buy every paycheck. Running a business is wagie hell full of unpaid labor, you get taxed at every level. Also something as trivial as making and selling food, a business owner is subject to all kinds of regulations and health standards while having to compete with shitskins that sell tacos out of their trunk.
>>62142375A business of what, that's the real question. I'd do it, but I want something chill
