>I am investing in carbon. It seems obvious that demand for carbon is going to increase as domestic industries are being rebuilt worldwide. Carbon is used for batteries, industrial electrodes and steel production. All while global conflict increases trade barriers and will increase cost of raw materials.I'm looking to buy a lot of carbon as cheap as possible right now diamonds are the most cost-effective carbon per carbon. So right now I'm looking into that carbon I can sell later to when industrial demand picks up.Thoughts?
>>62154355How can diamonds be the cheaper way anon? That makes no sense. Even if they are factory made diamonds, even if they are tiny ones, wouldn't amorhpous carbon powder be cheaper? It is literally what even factory made diamonds start up as.
>>62154358No in terms of value per carbon diamonds have way more carbon within them than the same amount of carbon in a powder. Because they compress the carbon into more carbon per carbon
>>62154370Right so you're factoring in the ease of storage as well. How can there be carbon shortage in the future, though? Are you anticipating a future without organic matter? All that carbon has to go somewhere, even if you suddenly have no plants to bind it. Algae would go crazy, carbon would be attained from that. All of this not even thinking about coal etc.
>>62154355Pic of your carbon stash or gtfo out
>>62154389>ease of storageNot a concern the main reason for diamonds is the concentration of carbon in diamonds compared to other forms of carbon so ill get more carbon value.>no organic matterThat would be an absurd future to invest for practically the end of the world The main problem of organic based carbon are the impurities in the carbon making it useless for a lot of industrial processes that I would be investing for.>coalAs I said before diamonds have more carbon per carbon than any other carbon source I could buy
