>tfw fell for the NEET memehow the fuck can you guys endure this? it's so boring and depressing, I unironically miss my wagecuck 9-5
I would unironically wagecuck still if I was able to take vacation whenever I want. I don't enjoyed scheduling things like that or requiring permission.
>>62156751I became a neet because of crippling social anxiety, not out of choice.I suspect many are the same.
>>62156751see you fell for it without having any money, I did that once and then realized that it costs money to do anything other than sit in front of a screen all day every dayDepending on where you live, even going out for a walk will cost you bus fare or gas to get to a decent park. Never felt so trapped, now if I had money to go out and do things like camping or fishing or even just cook nice meals then I would have been a lot happier
>early 2020>have 6k bucks, wanted to travel to japan in the summer>1 year and change later, have nearly 40k>think I'm hot shit>don't want to work anymore, want to find the Next Big Thing but it's too late in the cycle to make it>don't fucking do anything for a year while blowing 5k on bad trades in the 2022 downturn>end up with 18kish~ at the end of 2022>could have quickly pumped that to 30k using some oujia magic and bought 2 btc>didn't>sought employment but turned down jobs paying less than 30/hr, my labor doesn't come cheap>continue to be unemployed until I had car trouble and needed money to pay off the repairs>realized that I totally fucked up three different shots at turning 20k into 250,000, and then potentially into 2 million in the last 5 years>worse off than if I just took profits and went abck to work for a few years, then put it into bitcoin on the cheap, or microstrategy, or any tech shitWagecucking is preferable to neeting
>>62156779I decided if I ever make it in the future I'm just going to keep remote working. One can still do stuff, but not having an income or side biz is a bad idea.
>>62156751>i am a zog slavenot a good thing to be admitting, bud.
>>62156751Let me guess, you tried NEETing without a $2 million investment portfolio?
>>62156799i have enough savings to last me about 2 years of neeting, but it's boring having nothing to do in this shit country.I-I actually enjoyed the 9-5 daily routine.
Nothing more sad than to encounter a human who can't fathom doing anything but wageslaving. Don't you have any interests or hobbies, any desire to create, to do something you're passionate about? I wish a day was 36 hours long so I could do everything I want to do in a day and this dude can't comprehend doing anything but a 9-5
>>62156751Steam drugs and the hub you filthy fucking casual tourist. Some of us are actually disabled neets. Faggit.
>>62156751You're boring and don't have any hobbies.
>>62156751youre right but wagecucking is worse for me
>>62156751>NEET>free time to develop hobbies/skillsYou gotta think about it like money: it doesn't get up and do everything for you. (You) gotta put it to work.>contract ended = neet until new job>decided to do investment research>found dip 8 months later the did 10,000xIt's kind of like virtual prospecting but on that note I've seen someone in metals/commodities generals that does prospecting and has advice in the archives for how to look for signs of gold deposits. Could be worth looking into.Back to virtual stuff, while I was fortunate due to looking around, if I'd been looking around more often I'd have seen Asteroid Shib sitting at an ideal buy-in price during March. Some say it can run further but I haven't done the research, my point is that you can only find stuff that can greatly multiply the initial amount, if you're looking around in the first place.
NEETing for a short period of time is no issue. HOWEVER, the job market in burgerland literally doesn't forgive taking ANY job gap whatsoever, most especially in 2026's abysmal job market where every job posted has 500+ applicants each within literal minutes of them being posted.> but firm handshake bro!Yeah, and then they'll tell you to apply online and join the pile.

>>62156751“Let's suppose that you were able every night to dream any dream that you wanted to dream. And that you could, for example, have the power within one night to dream 75 years of time. Or any length of time you wanted to have. And you would, naturally as you began on this adventure of dreams, you would fulfill all your wishes. You would have every kind of pleasure you could conceive. And after several nights of 75 years of total pleasure each, you would say "Well, that was pretty great." But now let's have a surprise. Let's have a dream which isn't under control. Where something is gonna happen to me that I don't know what it's going to be. And you would dig that and come out of that and say "Wow, that was a close shave, wasn't it?" And then you would get more and more adventurous, and you would make further and further out gambles as to what you would dream. And finally, you would dream ... where you are now. You would dream the dream of living the life that you are actually living today.”

>>62157117I hear you. I don’t have the time nor the energy like I did back then; waging just drains a man for a pittance.>>62156917I fucked up so many times. It would be nice to wake up and it all fades away.

>>62157134>>62157215to be fair if you gave me a million bucks/financial security I would 'wagie' by trying to become a corporate finance lawyer, because I would want to have 10 million and 100 million and be a CEO. Because I can't stand being a broke bitch. Give me 70 years so I can become charlie munger or warren buffet. Fuck this poorfag shit.
>>62157298None of the two people you mentioned came from rags, bro. Lol.
>>62157475Yes and Trump got a million dollar loanBut even if he lost the loan his dad was worth half a billion anyway so he had no real risk. My point is if you give me financial security so that I don't feel like putting 100k into the market could bankrupt me or make me, I would be so much more than I am. But the system actively tries to fuck you in the ass.Like playing as Wallachia in Victoria 3, you spend the entire game trying to absorb Moldova and liberate yourself and get great powers to help you fuck up Austria to get your wider territory back. By the time you're a great power it's already 1900 and the game is almost over.

>>62157126Most NEETs live really tight. They act smug about it here but they need to budget everything. I never fully could go NEETing because here and there I always did some tutoring to have some money for shit beyond food. I also missed out all the possible moonshots from 2012 onwards, including triple digit BTC and double digit ETH, single digit AMD, etc. because I never had money. In hindsight I could have skipped a computer upgrade back in 2019 but still it wouldn't made me a millionaire.Dating also becomes impossible after 27. Girls start asking what you do for a living, and answering "I'm a college student" and "I live with my parents" is no longer good for them.>>62156871What hobbies can someone have when living with parents that set the rules in a small house? Painting? Writing? Cycling?
>>62157542> and "I live with my parents" is no longer good for them.If they know you don’t come from a rich family, yeah.
>>62157542>Most NEETs live really tight. They act smug about it here but they need to budget everything Who doesn’t have a budget? Rich and poors have a budget. Hell, it is probably only the rich that even have a budget.
>>62157525>>62157542AMD will probably run higherBut in just the last 8 months if you bought tech shit like Sandisk you could have made it, if you bought with 100k.
It's a quiet life. Being a neet in your teens/20s is fucked up, you're never gonna look better or have more energy. But after that, if you didn't make it, why not? If you have the means to live without working. Dealing with bosses, with coworkers, traffic... sorry but nope.
>>62157542>Girls start asking what you do for a livingi work in finance, managing a private pool of equity, with a focus on bank-to-bank transfer agents that facilitate trillions a year aka pools closed
>>62156751>how the fuck can you guys endure thisThey don't, they hate themselves.
>been neet since 2020The biggest thing I have faced is what do you do when you have nothing to cope with? Most people's lives involve working and doing something to blow off steam after work. So it becomes a stress/release cycle. The boredom that comes is from doing all the release without the stress part. eventually your brain gets bored, and you don't really know who you are outside of that cycle. Other consequences are that you don't realize how much structure a job really provides you. Sleep schedule, social outlets, and sense of belonging, to name a few. You really have to have your shit together because once that structure is gone, you're only left with yourself. Some pro's are that you can really slow down to learn yourself. Take a full week trying something to see if it's for you. I've gone to college just to be a frat boy, went to a lineman school to see blue collar life, and worked in a bank to see white collar. More experiences than most, and my idea of the ideal life for me has formed more out of these experiences, without the pressure of needing to succeed in those fields. Which strangely makes me perform better "detachment" wink wink.>become a master of finding and routing out your negative self-defeating talkThis is another pro, you get a lot of time to work on, and I believe Jesus when he said the kingdom of heaven is within you. When you can sit quietly with your mind, you can view your patterns clearly over a long period of time, and with the help of a therapist, really root out the major mental blocks. You need to be selfish and learn yourself (slay your dragon) before you start your real life. Many people I see are so eager to pursue their career, family, and goals without knowing why they even want them.
>>62156751Did this, regretted it. My advice is if you're gonna beer then have a social life, healthy diet and ample amounts of sunlight. Also learn something. If you don't want to be a wagie then ok but isolating yourself leads to mental and psychological issues.
>>62157215I met a dude who was past 50 and he never had a job before. I asked him for advice lol.

>>62157756Having a job doesn't make things better tho. I'm still a pessimist Chud, except with less time for myself and a bit more money that I don't really use

>>62157602never gonna have more anxiety or be more unsure of myself either. i realised that what i had to do was accept who i am and im not just not very good at the life thing.
i was a neet for 10 (ten) years no im working in a corporate office like a pajeet from the helpdesk but still
>>62156751I haven't worked since 2015, but sometimes I have dreams where I decide to show up at my old work and just go to my desk and start working like nothing happened. During the dream I go to work for a year, working for free before I decide to ask my boss to start paying me, including back pay. He says "no" and starts laughing and I wake up in a panic. What a nightmare that is, i hate that recurring dream.
you have to do something, you have to have an activity and goals. It's easy for me to say because I went to school for CS so my hobby is programming and so I can just spend all day in front of a PC and feel fulfilled, but if you're not into that you need to find some activity you can do that won't bankrupt you and provide you with meaning. The germans were right, work will set you free, but people conflate wagecucking with work. Being a wagecuck will not set you free
>>62156751I had to persuade myself that not having a job was worse than looking for a job.
>>62158000And what did he say?
>>62156838Honestly man. I have so much backlog of shit in my life. I wish I could just step into a pocket universe while the real world stops moving, and I go through my backlog. So many little projects, so many books, so much art. It’s fucking sad really. Here is a boundless, limitless consciousness, limited to a decaying body and a pathetic time limit of which you can only use 16 or so hoursIt’s a sick joke really.>>62156871Actually there is something else, well in my case.Without a job, I feel like I am not earning money that I can produce using my skills, and so I kinda don’t feel calm and focused enough to spend time on hobbies. Basically i felt like I am wasting my time, aging, without having any money to help me out, and so I felt too anxious to commit to any hobby.
>>62156775The problem is not really you. It's normies. Being you as a schizo amongst normies, makes them feel you are a creep. Now you can fake a normie personality, but it's exhausting. When i'm among non normies people, my social anxiety is lower than with normies. Among real friends that think globally like me, anxiety is almost non existant.
>>62156838>>62156871motherfuck what kind of hobbies do you have that you will spend 16 hours a day 7 days a week doing?
>>62159344One of my hobbies is relaxing and there isn’t enough time in the day for it.
>>62156768I’m a doctor and i can take vacations with like a 1-2 month notice. I will never stop working, this is the dream (as long as the field doesn’t get too saturated).
>>62158571lmao
>>62159375You will stop working when you make 1m+ a year from doing nothing
>>62159386Who the fuck makes that kind of money? Besides, there is plenty of already rich doctors. Maybe i would asses again exactly what i want to do for work in that situation.
>>62159410> Who the fuck makes that kind of moneyEveryone who grew up above middle class. > Besides, there is plenty of already rich doctors. Exactly. So these doctors bring in over 1m a year in passive income and still work as a doctor?
>>62159375>>62159410So, just like everyone who says “i love my job,” it is only because you have to work it. The moment you don’t get paid for it, you don’t love it and wouldn’t do it for free.
>>62156751yeah its horrible i wish i could get any job but i cant even get helldesk with bachelors and experiencehopefully this cert im studying for will land me some job but we will see
If my living conditions remain the same no matter how much I work, and taxes take all my extra work, what is legitimately the point of working?

>>62156751most people are NEET incorrectly, living like bums or mooching off their parents when you SHOULD be mooching off the governmentGo get on welfare. Go get on food assistance.
