Is 350k in retirement accounts at 30 enough to coast on by until retirement age?
>>
how does 10M sound?
>>
>>62162458
no. it costs like $20k a year to live a modest life in thailand.
>>
No
>>62162511
That will be 1 year of rent when OP retires
>>
>>62162458
google walletburst coast fire calculator and plug your numbers in. you might be good if you don't plan on spending much
>>
>>62162518
>20k a year
Wtf. Are monkey faced trannies so alluring to chud retirees? You could lead a very decent life with half of that in Mexico
>>

South and Central America is so much better than SEA. Imagine having a far cry compound like Mcafee
>>
>>62162776
are small towns in mexico safe?
>>
No if you have a paid off house you need 1mil minimum, at a 5% avg return that will fetch 50k. Im also assuming youll use far less then 50k so you won't blow every bit of growth and can ride through the down years. Ideally having 1.5 to 2mil to ensure you can have a vacation or two each year
>>
>>62162790
How'd that work out for him?

Maybe if you're in a lcol area or plan to 3rd world max but you aren't going to be balling and its pretty high risk as an economic downturn or unforeseen financial emergency could easily force you back to work at the worst possible time.

Have you considered that it doesn't have to be all or nothing? For example since my work is somewhat seasonal I was able to negotiate an arrangement where I take 3 month off a year (unpaid) and when I reach my next financial milestone I plan to try to only work the 2-3 busiest months and take the rest of the year off. Of course depending the type of work you do this might be unfeasible but it may be worth it for you to look for something in your field with this type of flexibility.

Even better just go to Europe. There are many wonderful places in Europe where you can live very comfy on 2k a month.
>>
>>62162797
Maybe but only if you're Mexican
>>
>>62162458
I hate to be the one to tell you this anon but most millennials/zoomers aren't going to retire. The current system is unsustainable.
>>
>>62163925
So what’s the alternative then?
>>
>>62165206
Absolute poverty or a collapse of government most likely. Tiny chance somebody comes along and actually reforms things that help out the citizenship, but its possible
>>

whats gonna happen is extreme retaliation from either side. People that can think just 3 steps ahead already know that there has to be death. There HAS to be death.
Either schizos&autists will kill various high networth individuals, or they will try to cull us.

They cannot let WW3 happen, because that would give just the right amount of people weapons that they don't want them to have.

If we're lucky, a lone vigilante already has sneaked in explosives in their bunker projects

>thinking they are giving anyone weapons and aren't just gonna deploy automated weaponry

>not so fast, pleb! My AGI autimated turret systems will defend the jewish homeland!
>windowsshutdown.wav
>oh no! It was programmed and trained by the lowest common denominator programmers on the planet and doesn't work as advertised!
Soon to be 110

The problem is you gotta compete with spanish chads who could be a male model in the states and spent the first 30 years of their life sleeping 9 hours a night and 10,000 steps a day

Coasting meaning continuing to work with minimal or no additional contributions? Yes

What triggers this bot post? It's nothing profound or even interesting.
Always report on sight.
>>
>>62169642
Considering you're likely reporting to the bot operator, I wouldn't bother
This board is so fucking dead it could be automated by a competent script kiddie, and yet.....
