anyone else notice all social media outlets are converging together? i am starting to see the same posts on reddit, on facebook, on instagram, even on here of all places
it's bleak, large portion of this site is now facebook/twitter/reddit reposts and that number keeps growing
>>62163560>still uses social mediangmi
>>62163560>anyone else notice all social media outlets are converging together?why wouldn't they? it's all bots pinging the same APIs at the same time. every week there's some new bot-generated whip cracking into the consciousness of every social media user. sometimes every day
Yeah it's getting pretty bleak, I see a post here, check twitter and there it is again. A few hours later someone posts it in discord or telegram. Grim.
>>62163560and i bet it's not humans doing it!!!!
>>62163560South california media kek, are you from 2015?
>>62163627i pay a couple hundred per month to post the same content on 10 different social media platforms and so do a ton of other people. its because its monetized so you can get paid 10 different times for the same content.
>>62163560at least twatter became 4chan after fElon bought it.also, social media is controlled by the paypal mafia and other tech bros.no idea about reddit, though
>>62163560it's been like this for years. Not only that, but even "novel" posts are just reformulations of the same thing over and over again.
>>62163560It's happening offline too
>>62163560If you buy that the internet is a weird collective consciousness that was born around 2008, it would be 18 now. So either we all are about to go insane partying, ascend to college level thinking, or (more likely) wash out and spend the next 10 years doing the worldwide equivalent of shoveling out slop at the local fast food chain.
>>62163560What fucks me up is how hard it is to find anything online now. Content disappears so much faster, if the algorithm doesn't think it's new meme content it buries it completely.
>>62163560If you still have social media you're the problem.
>>62163828>Content disappears so much faster, if the algorithm doesn't think it's new meme content it buries it completely.they made it so they can sell "AI". guess where the AI "learned" from... it learned from all that content (and places) that disappeared.
