>sit around and lord over the job site
>can tell people what to do, call the police
>doesn’t have to actually do anything except clock in and clock out.
Your time is essentially yours if you’re at the right site

I work security for a tech company overnight and my job is just to clock in, clock out, and sit in a $600 dollar Herman miller office chair for 8 hours. I watch streams, research stocks, listen to music, and read. The building is empty and there’s unlimited snacks, coffee, and soda

If you have to work a job security always pays enough to be comfortable if you’re a minimalist single guy

but i bet those jobs are hard to get, no?
probably a lot of retard barriers or u need a connection or something for the decent ones?
>>
seems like every fucking decent job is more or less blocked but idk, i've never worked
i will kms

based though good luck anon

I became one after working at a warehouse and the security guy was planning on leaving. I got my security license and took his job
>>

I did security through school in my 20's. Some of the best work I've ever had, I read so many books, played so many vidya, masturbated so much
>>
your chair was worth 1200 dollars in your last thread

Good until you need to deal with a feral nigger

No they just gonna ask you if you have a low IQ, if you tell them you have sub 60 IQ they gonna immediately hire you, so that's why so many niggers are in them.

When I lived in California I had a job like that. It was pretty comfy but I had work around nigs. They weren’t too bad though, you could mostly avoid them after clocking in.

Then I moved to flyover and the security companies always tried to stick me at amazon or fedex warehouses being in the cuck cage in charge of scanning the subhuman package handlers and letting them in. Fuck that. Those motherfuckers would never give me a cushy office building, car patrol, or tech security gig again so I had to go into a different line of work

Absolutely not anon. The big 3 hire anyone off the street (allied, Securitas, and gardaworld). I didn’t start there though. I did security at an airport overnight for a smaller company.

But once you’re in you have to actually try to get fired. If you show up on time, wear your uniform, do your patrols, and don’t fall asleep you’re golden.

chill

There’s two Herman miller chairs. The embody is that much. The Aeron is about half that. Sometimes I get a post with the embody, others with Aeron. Google it

If your account is internal in a nice area, say a luxury apt building you don’t deal with anyone
>>

>embody Aeron

I work 2 times a week as a security officer making $41 an hour and get $1800 in VA disability. I have a house paid off and my gf is an accountant
>>
>>62164294
Some jobs like the Amazon I work at ASK the security guards to do extra tasks and help out when we're short staffed
>>
>>62164294
In reality you have to deal with and kick out insane free range junkies whom the police won't bother arresting as they won't serve prison time. You also cannot arrest or fighr back after getting attacked, spat on etc. Usually for, or slightly above minimum wage. It's usually a job immigrants work here

Lmao. I’ve been in the physical security field for 15+ years. Been everything to a roving guard to working management for tech companies. The control room operator position was by far my favorite. Sit for 8 hours a day. Watch yt or whatever. Review people doing some dumb but hilarious shit. Here are some of my favorites…
>hispanic painter goes up 15+ ft on a ladder which is not supported. Falls the entire way down when the ladder slips, paint splashes everywhere, and hispanic dude broke his back
>washed up cheerleader stacy now in mid-30s walking down hall in her high heels with her lunch and trips over herself, faceplanting into the floor
>naked ugle homeless lady appears on site around 3pm and is running down and shouting at employees
>dude stole a full size refrigerator
>people falling, walking into doors, and just being clueless fucks daily
Not only is the job comfy af, it’s hella entertaining at times too lulz

I almost became a ‘guard’ at a data center control room. They told me they get tons of alarms every day I would need to “call out” and made it sound stressful, so I passed.

Did I make a mistake
>>
>>62166803
Depends. Managers make or break rolls. Sometimes they just say that because its what they’re supposed to do, but in reality and in the job when 100s of alarms come in a day it’s impossible so they’re ignored until the door contact gets fixed to correct the faulty alarms. Worst case is you take the job and the manager is a cunt who makes you actually call out each one. Best case is it’s a filter statement, you get in, and just (at most) copy/paste the alarm list and send it to management to get fixed.
>>
>>62164632
Was the job Unifi security by anychance?
>>62164303
Not really. If just starting out expect lousy pay with barebone benefits. Loyalty does pay off. Protip: just dont call out and be available, its how you climb up
>>
>>62164294
Some of the dumbest, most selfish guys I know from high school and college (and did not actually get a degree) ended up becoming a cop
>>
>>62169292
I made friends with a law enforcement major through an intro to biology lab because he was trying to get into the DNR. I ended up going to a bunch of parties with mostly law enforcement majors there. Let's just say I've never been so glad that I'm white.
