Two separate AI companies competing for a trillion dollar IPO valuation and one of them is a non-profit
>>
Actually, both of them are non-profits now that I think about it. I still can't believe OpenAi has $1.5 Trillion in future spending commitments.

google actually missed eps adjusted, the big gains came from unrealized gains. yet +10%

gork:

GAAP diluted EPS: $5.11 (massive beat vs. ~$2.62–$2.63 consensus)
The boost: A $37.7 billion net gain in "Other income (expense)" — almost entirely from unrealized gains on non-marketable equity securities.
This added roughly $2.35 per share to EPS and drove a huge chunk of the net income increase to $62.6 billion.

Without this gain, the adjusted/operating EPS was around $2.62, which was roughly in line with (or very slightly below) analyst expectations.
