What are the chances MSTR goes bankrupt this year? Is picrel FUD or a legitimate reason not to buy while it's still cheap?
>>62174233In the short term close to zero. For the long term 100%. Leverage will fuck anyone eventually
>>62175056Better go with this or BITX? Plan to buy this year and sell in 2-3
>>62174233why do you buy bitcoin? because the supply is scarceMSTR isnt scarce, Saylor is diluting on your ass
I trust bubbleboy who lost 99% of his money in the dotcom crash
>>62179055I buy to make money, but yea thinking I'm better off with BITX
>>62174233STRC is the equivalent of maxing out the credit card to pay for one last night on the town. They’re gonna take out debt at 15% interest until they no longer can, and then the party is over for good.
>>62175056>For the long term 100%. Leverage will fuck anyone eventuallyKind of disagree. Bitcoin has a pretty solid track record at this point. Even during WuFlu it didn't crash below its 2018-2019 lows, and that was the blackest of black swans.Saylor has spoken many times about his balance sheet. BTC would have to crash below $20K to cause serious problems for his company. Most of his BTC was purchased using preferred stock sales that would only mean that shareholders get screwed, not MSTR itself.>>62179076Pretty much every internet-oriented company was not profitable, was heavily in debt, and was pointless. Saylor is actually rather impressive for keeping a company going despite a sector-wide trainwreck and a later global economy trainwreck.
>>62179076Saylor is right that people will always want exposure to volatility. He's almost built a perpetual motion machine if only he could harness energy from all the salt he generates
