>33 next month>1.5M saved>people keep telling me I “won”>but I still need 5 more years of work to be safe>that’s ~10,000 more hours of my life gone>don’t see how that isn’t just slavery with extra steps
how much will you have after 5 more years of work?
>>62179111same here. luckily i dont mind my job really.
>$250k for St Kitts citizenship>$10k for elite visa (10-15 year residency) in Thailand, renewable>rest of money into a diversified dividend folio that gets you 4%/year and has the stocks increase to offset inflation>$50k in tax free annual incomeYou can't retire in a first world country but if you really wanted to, you could have a very comfortable retirement in SEA
>>62179170Little over 2M
>>62179111Just kill yourself you humble bragging piece of shit.
>>62180820You really don't need to wait. If you spend sensibly, $1.5 mil is enough to stop working. I should've stopped working sooner but I fell into the trap of thinking I need $2-3 mil to feel safe.
you can retire now if you frugalmax during the first 10 years
>>62179111checked.>35, europoor>360k USD networthgrim, gotta wage forever here
1.5 mil is 60k in T-bonds. You can also get roughly that equivalent in dividend stocks and pay no taxes. If you cant make it work you deserve to be miserable
>>62179233>>62180833>>62180857>>62180947>Just retire to live like a 3rd world nigger monkey bro!
Could have retired at 36 if I hadn't lost 8.1M gambling. I'll have to wage for the rest of my stupid life.
>>62180820not bad, especially for your age. I’m around that much counting regular investing account, retirement accounts, and cash, but I’m almost 10 years older than you.
>>62179111>>62179187Pretty much same frens. I shouldn't have bought a house, I could have already made it
