I know this is basically just a crypto shilling board, but that aside, talking about actual business, does it not feel like everything you could possibly think about doing has already been done? Or that the few business models you can come up with wouldn't actually be viable, and even if they were, online marketing is so saturated it feels like it would never actually come to light?I don't know man, but it feels like the only hope for a working class person to ever start their own business would be something like a franchise where you are just paying to use one of the handful of giga corporation's brand names, and even then they charge you multiple 6 figures with all sorts of net worth requirements making even that closely gatekept
Set yourself up well enough, and wait for the competition to mess up and fill the gap. You have to be at the right place at the right time.

Starting a business isn't about being the first one with an idea. That is a casual's trap and why the meme about "idea guys" came about. It's about executing more effectively than the others, because at any point in time most things are already being done, just not as well as they could be, or in every area or market. So you figure out how to execute better, and in a market that makes sense. Establish yourself, scale, innovate as you can.I like Bezos a lot as the modern case study. His first idea was not novel or exciting. eCommerce (everyone is already starting to do that), an online book store (even more boring sounding, his peers said he'd get btfo by Barnes & Noble). Well he did it best. Reliable, cheap service that sucked in the market. This foundation allowed him to expand and innovate from there. Now he's the king of all eCommerce not just books because he mastered the method. He didn't stop there. With his billions he can finally innovate: cloud services, totally new concept that proved extremely lucrative. Finally, making Amazon a logistics/delivery company itself, another new concept in eComm.Find something you can do really well, break into that industry, scale/innovate from there. As a small timer you don't really have time or resources to do anything else.

>>62184288I'm about to start such a farm. Luckily it doesn't seem to be too expensive.
>>62181923>does it not feel like everything you could possibly think about doing has already been done?Yes and no. There is nothing you can do today that will make you wildly successful without having connections to keep various mafias at bay, and billions in loans to fund whatever you do. So there are NEW things to do, society won't stop advancing here, but the barrier to entry for anything truly new costs billions.Outside of that, the only business you can start is one where you put your skills to work. So you're basically a w2 slave but you maybe make more money. Those, of course, require years of experience in an industry. Unless you're doing pool cleaning routes or lawn mowing.
