Is 27 too late?
Too late for the big bucks, yeah. You form connections in college and use those to access wealth and power. You can still have an okay wagie life as long as you don't expect much from it before you die.
>>62182820what are the big bucks? Like over $200K? I understand I should have gone to college. I thought I was smarter than everyone for thinking it was a scam when in reality it was a place of intelligent, high energy, youthful individuals all gathering in one place to figure out their destiny. Still there must still be some ladder available to me.
>>62182808no 27 isnt too latehonestly too late might be like 45. 27 is still really young.
>>62182808it was too late for you the minute you were born clearly. its not an age thing.
>>62182852How old are you?
>>62182808The issue a lot of people have is becoming so money focused that they forget what the point of life is all about, thus leading to questions like yours.
>>62182808>having a woman yap while you're trying to workno thanks
>>62182835>what are the big bucks? Like over $200K?10M+. Anyone can make 200k a year, if that's your dream and you have a shitload of energy. Prepare for burnout after a decade though.
>>62182835Don't listen to this >>62182820 blackpilled doomer retard. You can still go to college. I am graduating with my bachelor's this year and I will turn 27 in the summer.
I am 27 now and I am on track to able to retire at 55 with bare minimum 6k a month from my ROTH 401(k) and annuity payouts, not to even include my private investments and savings. You're good, bud.
>>62182915What did you go for and how confident are you at finding employment relevant to your degree?
>>62182940Healthcare administration. I can work anywhere there is a hospital system or clinic, or worst case scenario, I can just go back to the warehouse and be a supervisor lmfao.
>>62182808>picrelBut I just want a girl who loves me and maybe a family. I have enough money. >>62182820>You form connections in college and use those to access wealth and powerTrue, this is why "revenge of the nerds" is bullshit and Chad always wins. He's just usually a nice guy in my experience too (if only because he has no reason to ever be mean). But 27 is not too late to make money.
Way too late for being under 27
>>62182948I currently am at the warehouse myself, I respect your trade anon and your grind. Hopefully you don't have to get vaxxed in that field. Funny I looked up CNA/LNA classes a few hours before making this thread as I was getting sick of going to the wagie warehouse every week and felt like being a nurse wagie for a while would be easier on my back while I formulated a plan. Did you do the whole networking thing like that one anon claimed you must do in college? I have been thinking as a last resort to do the whole community college to university transfer but I didn't enroll for the last semester as I felt like it was just a massive cope. Then again, since I wouldn't be going into debt I can't imagine it would be that much of a regret in the long run. Were you online or in person?
>>62182808Captain Morgan? Gross.
>>62182808I slacked off all through my 20s smoking weed and working at a grocery store. As soon as I hit 30 I got an accounting job with no experience (I'm very handsome and it was all women interviewing me). Literally got the first job I applied for kek then while I did that I finished a bachelors in accounting online and became a financial analyst (90% of my interviewers were women this time). I went from earning no more than $32k in a year all through my 20s, to $50k as soon as I hit 30 to $120k a few years later. I'm trying to develop my own thing now though. Basically, if you're a handsome, fit White man it is never too late. Also, you'd be amazed at how retarded the average office worker is and how much leeway they get to be as retarded as they are. I never applied myself in my 20s because I was a hs dropout from a lower class family, and though my IQ is high, I figured I'd never fit in or be able to compete with white collar workers. LMAO, I was wrong. If you've ever played an even slightly complex PC game, you can figure out any software these retards use to do their jobs. I learned my first ERP in 2 weeks when it took the lady before me 6 months do learn her job.
>>62182980Same brother I am trying to escape the grind. I did a few years at Ace and most recently Sherwin Williams and the only way I am going back into the warehouse is if I can sit in the office. >Hopefully you don't have to get vaxxedNo I would just straight up refuse if they wanted to jab me or just say I'm muslim or some shit.>CNAYeah that would show you if nursing is for you. This year the workforce pell thing is rolling out, I think in July, so you should be able to use pell grants to cover CNA courses I believe.>Did you do the whole networking thingLiterally only with my professors. I figure I may need them to write me good LORs if I do something else in the future. And yeah I'm online because it's way cheaper and I'm a broke ass wagie.
>>62182820>>62182835Most normies don't become rich JUST because they went to college. I have cousins with Comp Sci degrees that are still unemployed. Look at the amount of unemployed college graduates, especially in third world countries. The truth is, the world is uncertain for most white collar industries in the coming future.
>>62182820>he thinks anyone with actual connections will just hand it over to some random college dude with 0 connectionsLol. If I had connections do you really think I'm just going to give a handout to some guy in college who faked being friendly with me just to gain said connection?>but but but I am being a real friendOh yeah sure you are....to all 3000+ people you befriended there>noooooo I am much more selectiveOh yes of course to all 50 people who obviously will get a good job due to their connections, as if they won't notice your ulterior motive lel.You drank the koolaid man, you're not getting that "connection." And "connecting" with other students who don't have connections either leads nowhere. Unless you're close enough friends and said person ends up getting a great job and can get you in but wait that takes many years! Lel I doubt you'll stay friends long enough to take advantage.
>>62182808one foot in front of the other anon. Just keep moving.
>>62182878She’s not yapping she’s brapping.
>>62182808it’s never too late there’s always a hot 18 year old willing to lick saggy old man balls. Never give in!
No sympathy for people who fuck around in their 20s. Literally everyone in your life told you it was a bad idea and you still did it.
>>62182808No.
>>62182808On another note: I will say that as long as you have your full retirement amount at a point in life where you are still youthful, then you're not too late. If you keep yourself fit and healthy and do everything in your power to age as gracefully as you can given your genetics, you could become a millionaire in your mid 40s to early 50s, retire 2 decades before normal wagies, and if you maintained your youth as much as possible, you could be living identically to how you lived in your 30s but as a retired millionaire. Develop a real skill that people will pay for and leverage it to the max. Invest and play with the markets as you earn money and increase your revenue. Most normal professionals live a $60k-$100k lifestyle with two people earning. If you can get to $200, $300, $400k you can live the same lifestyle financially that most professional couples can afford maxed out WHILE investing and leveraging most of your capital. You do not need to be a million+ per year earner or a billionaire to make it. You just need to make a solid 6 figure salary and leverage it, and you'll be financially better off than any of the most achieved professionals on your facebook list living above their means and going into debt.
>>62183265the black pill is you have until age 28 to make critical decisions in your life that will lead to you having a successful career and a early retirement or being a forever drone.
>>62184160>t. 28 year old Shut up man, your advice applies to the average loser, if you’re constantly getting after it, trying something you’ll be fine
>>62184172i'm 34 and i saw it with all my friends, the ones who got good bachelors degrees or went into a trade and got established did fine, the ones who "found their way" never found it and still bum around
>>62183236Kek
>>62184180>my anecdotal evidence of my own friend group is true for everyoneanyone can grab success at almost any age. The fact that you have friends "still bumming around" means nothing. Any of them could find their stride and suddenly outpace you within 5 years. I have a drug addict/drug dealing, in-and-out of prison and/or rehab friend who seems to ALWAYS find a new job making $70k+ per year doing like autoCAD type shit in metal working shops. His resume has a lot of experience, but many gaps, and many 3-6 month job stints. He applies for these jobs on indeed, no connections and will have 3 interviews within a week or 2 and land a job. The first thing that pops up if you just google his name is one of his arrests for possessing heroin with the intent to sell and an illegal firearm. Hes currently unemployed with another good job lined up after another stint into drugs for last several months. Dude is 37 years old. At any point he could get his fucking act together, stay at a job for longer than 6 months and actually go somewhere but he doesn't. And he gets a million chances to start over again every single time. He has all the opportunity in the world to be successful long-term, but he is his own worst enemy. There is no blackpill. We don't live in some shithole where you get an F once in 3rd grade and your professional life is over. I have another friend who suffered with unmedicated ADHD and couldn't hit his stride. Got medicated in his early 30s and suddenly hes killing it at life. If you have the potential for success, then you can go do it whenever, its waiting for you.
>>62182808Yes. Give up.
>>62184256Kek, I was thinking of learning auto cad and working in factories but it seems like a pure wagie grind mode where you can't just up and leave for that long because then you get rusty operating the equipment. So I decided to go for accounting instead, maybe doing bookeeping remote as a long term goal. I just want to be able to travel a few months a year so being a digital nomad seems mandatory
>>62182808I fucking hate captain morgan, among the grossest of rumseven the cheapo shit is better
>>62184256Stopped reading after you called out that salary lmao. 70k today is 35k in 1995. The bare minimum. Just accept youll be waging until 70
>>62184275>Just accept youll be waging until 70nigger, are you fucking retarded? That's not my salary. You're a fucking nigger
>>62184291Ok wagie clean up on aisle 4
>>62184266>So I decided to go for accountingthis is probably the best route to go, anon. I wouldn't stick to bookkeeping though as a lot of it will be automated and reduce your salary potential. Get into tax, that will make you a lot of money and AI fucking sucks at taxes. The good thing about accounting is that so many people view it as boring, which is true, and math intensive/difficult, which is mostly false. Its all easy math used to organize the flow of finances, nothing beyond basic algebra is ever used. So, if you're high IQ, accounting is very easy work for a cozy salary and a lack of competition.
>>62184297with your reading comprehension, you would barely qualify for a grocery store job, faggot. You better be trolling
>>6218427570k starting isn’t the end of the world dude
>>62184316You wagies just dont stop whining. Dont come crying to /biz/ when you realize youre NGMI
>Captain Morgan rumlmao. He's not making much money if that's what he drinks, we drank that at 16
>>62184312What if I'm 105 IQ with unmedicated (probable)adhd?Idk how people with the same IQ as me coast through life and get easy fake work careers, while I seem to struggle at everything. I guess that's the ADHD
>>62182924only another 30 years of waging, wagie!
>>62182808Can't imagine the level of faggotry to take this picture. Pulling up charts, pouring rum, turning the bottle forwards, and getting your hooker to pose to get it in one picture. Faggot probably took a Vegas trip by himself just to take this picture.
>>62182808>>62182808alcohol is for faggots and i don't want a women who dresses and acts like a whore>let's go to the club, anoni'd rather masturbate and be alone
Thank you everyone for the kind words
