No one is talking about how there's no jobs. Ive been working for 10 years and never seen the market nearly this fucked up. Every job is fake, they will interview for 3 or 4 rounds and still repost the job next week, after ghosting people of course. People irl are coping so hard. Im back for my masters and not one person has any job or internship in any of my classes this or previous semester except me(and I will get laid off soon). These zoomers are so fucking deluded. They cant get an internship so they say "of well, im just gonna focus on finishing my masters". Is this how THEY are getting away with it? Society has already brainwashed people so badly the people in charge can drink their milkshake and leave them destitute and they wont even notice?
>>62184286skill issue. ggf &c
>>62184289All these interviews just happened to not like me or anyone else they interviewed and reposted the job? What a coincidence. Crazy how i had skills for the past 10 years and always instantly found a job but something randomly happened and now I lost whatever skills I have as I got good excperince in my fields
>>62184301Oh and here is the email from my on-site interview on may 4th i got on friday. Nevermind it was my drram company and this tore my fucking hear out. Skill issue on my part that they canceled the role..Oh and this is only 2/3 of all my interviews this past months if u count phone calls
>>62184289No he is right there really are no jobs. In 2019 u could send out 20 applications and get a 2 stage job and offernow it takes 1k to maybe get one offer.
>>62184286>Going for a master's degree when I can pay 20 dollars for a few minutes of token usage that will do a better job than you do with an 8 hour workdayIf you don't have a white collar job by now it's time to start looking for a job in the real world.
>>62184315I never understood the concept of dream company. You are a cubicle monkey in a department. Said department could have cancer leadership when you are and it’s miserable. You can’t say something is your dream company by looking at the marketing they put out
>>62184335I have one but might get laid off. Just like every other white collar worker. Manual labor doesn't pay enough to live and will also get replaced so dont start with the seething. At least I'll get Hella unemployment. Gonna start a vending machine business or something. Anything to not have to toilet away for 18 bucks an hour like u
>>62184344It was a quantum computing company. I would be in the lab, not a cubicle. Would have been surrounded by smart people. I went into engineering cuz I like it. Its crazy how most people have no actual interest in anything whatsoever, explines whu most of yall cant understand the concept of a dream job. Would i rather be piling up vicoritas secret models? Actually no beacuse math and engineering are fun but u get my poiint, its a realizstic drea. I was a shoe in for the role also. They just decided to cancle the whole thing outright. There were never trying to hire anyone.
>>62184360>Manual labor doesn't pay enough to live You can go work at a construction company and move cones for $20 an hour. Should be plenty since you probably invested your funds well while white collar work still existed.
>>62184335it's mop mop mop flip mop mop mop dip of course.
Every dollar savedI hardly spendThe economy is going to get crushed soon I feel it
>>62184396Being homeless sounds more appealing
>>62184286you suck and no one wants to pay for your work US unemployment is 4%.... you are in the bottom 4%.
>>62184413>doesn't understand what the unemployment figure measures. based retard
>>62184413fuck off retard EVERY JOB SECTOR is struggling with ghost jobs and unemploymentkys
>>62184413Im currently employed but I haven't been looking for a new job for months cuz I sense a layoff
>>62184461How do you interpret it? There is no way its 4 percent when not on person in any of my classes has an internship
>>62184286I just got a job here last week>90k+ salary>IT Management role, ideally IT Director>full time, salary, complete package of benefitsWhat you did was not question things and follow what the people who wanted you to be a grunt told you to do. What I did was self improve and do jobs that exposed me to alot of industries and people started seeking me out to get their problems solved. Do you see where you fucked up? >Protip: College is a scam, companies will hire you over college normies if you know your shit and do good work, both of which a college student cant provide proof of outside "le meme certificate"Reality is an IQ test, what do you think your IQ is?
>>62184556OP here, if i quit my job 90k would be a horrible blow to my current finances as I consider myself financially destitute at 110k. Which is why im looking for a job. What happens when a guy that knows his shir and does good work AND has a college degree in your field?
>>62184315Translation: Thank you for your data, which we will now sell to third parties. So long, suckers
>>62184660someone who actually went to college should have learned to network with others, as that is the 2nd part you go to college for. Did you not network with anyone? Keep in mind I self studied and did projects that I was interested in, which employers value 100x more than college completion. Did you do any projects in College that you would put into a portfolio? You sound like you are in a high cost of living area. 90k to a low cost of living area gives me plenty of comfort room to do whatever and take care of all needs with plenty left over. >knows his shit, does good work and college degreeIf you have the first two, there should have bene people who are coming to you to have you do work. If this isnt the case, then you're overexaggerating yourself. Those who do good work and know their shit will never actually run into no jobs, unless their work is in an empty industry that has no demand. I didn't even interview, they knew they wanted me and hired me as soon as they could.>What experiences have you had that defines you as knowing your shit AND does good work?
>>62184301>All these interviews just happened to not like meYes. It's you, not them. You are the common factor in all of those rejections.>i had skills for the past 10 yearsYou skill - such as it was - was being a warm body to fill a seat for the bean counters who conflated head count for productivity (because that's the sort of category error that accountants always make). That skill is no longer particularly valuable.
>>62184690My freind did oxy for 10 years, got sober, lied on his resume and passed a compTA. He's a networking engineer now. U arent special. Ill just take ur job when I fully give up
>>62184496Yeah 4% unemployment, roughly the same level of unemployment as it's been the last 2 decades. There are plenty of jobs out there, and plenty of people getting hired into those jobs. I changed jobs just last year, made one call, had one interview, and got an offer before I walked out the door. 18% raise from my previous position. But I'm actually good at what I do, it's not just some delusion that I use to prop up my persecution complex. So yes, it really is a skill issue, and you should git gud, you fucking faggot.
>>62185003You mis read what I said on purpose. Since they reposted the job in a bootlicker retard world like urs that would mean that no one they interviewed was good enough. Which is insane of course. Why do u bootlicker so hard? I was a bootlicker just like you and it got me nowhere, you will find our soon enough zoomie
>>62185047How do yoy explines emails like this?>>62184315Im employed now but im not gonna larp as if everything is okay. Have fun getting laid off alongside me in a few months
>>62185047Also. I got a job too last year, that was last year retard. Shit has changed, u retard. Also if u were better than everyone else, then you would realize the exception doesnt make the rule.
>>62185053>no one they interviewed was good enoughYes. It happens a lot and this isn't a recent phenomenon as you seem to believe. I've seen it happen from the other side, you get a tranche of candidates in to interview and none of them are suitable, maybe one guy has the chops but has an attitude problem, another guy turns out to be a good bullshitter, another guy got good grades in his classes but doesn't seem to remember a thing about what was covered in them, &c. So you put out the position again.>>62185058>the exception doesnt make the rule. You should think very hard about that before making a fool of yourself on the internet. 4% unemployment. *You* are the exception. *You* and a very few other people are undesireable. It's not a conspiracy against you (no matter how better that makes you feel), it is your fault that you are having trouble getting a job.>>62185055Positions do close without being filled. It could be worse, he could have been hired for the job, quit his current job, then get laid off before ever getting his first paycheck. It happened to a junior coworker of mine back in 1992, he was doing the junior job-hopping thing climbing the salary ladder and hopped right off a cliff. He was able to get back his previous job at our company because we had started interviewing but hadn't filled it yet, but took a pay cut because he was desperate and we knew he was gonna job hop again at the first opportunity. And yes all those prospective interviewees got their rejection letter and a notice that the position was closed. Shit happens.
>>62185058>Shit has changedIt really hasn't, you're just too young and naive to realize it. Nihil sub sole novum.
>>62184286just wait. they is doing a stimulus soon.
>>62185045Quite the projection. I have to deny people because I get so much work... yet here you are having issues finding work. The answer is in what you are experiencing; since there are many in YOUR position and you are competing with them and not getting it, that means you are AT MOST average. What projects have you worked on? I mentioned a portfolio earlier but you completely avoided that. I hope the context im providing you is at least getting through your ego to help you identify the actual issue here: you
>>62184286Hella people talk about this. Not the media, because they fucking help the govt lie about the economy
>>62185125> Unemployment is at 4% So that means there aren't many jobs available. Why are you treating him like he's wrong then? It's hard to find a real, well-paying job
>>62184406My coked out Mexican manager showed me it's faster to dump large amounts of the hot water, *scrub scrub scrub*, push water into floor drain, then dip, mop, dip, squeeze excess, dry up any excess water on the floor with dry mop, and then you're doneVery efficient in a restaurant
>>62185684>So that means there aren't many jobs available.Nope, that means there are plenty of jobs available. 4% is at the low end of the unemployment rate that is considered "full employment" (the baseline level of unemployment to be expected even when there are significantly more jobs than job seekers).
I get blown up by recruiters non stopt. Lawyer
>>62185125>working since 1992no wonder your a fucking boomer hahahaha
>>62184286There's this one big local company I interviewed for in November. I was highly qualified, 10 years experience in the field...and they never got back to me. A month later I saw the listing vanish...figured they found someone, whatever. Until a couple weeks later it popped back up again, same position, same pay, same location.I called the hiring manager and asked him about it, and how I never did get a confirmation one way or the other about the job and he stammered a bit. Said he'd get back to me when he figured it out. After I hung up I got an email saying I wasn't being considered anymore and the job once again vanished. Two months later, the job listing popped back up again. Same position, same pay, same location. It's still up there too. For 8 months already.
Always reminds me how every boomer's life story is like>I wanted something bigger than working in a factory.... so I became a lawyer/businessowner/military general/rock starOr some shit. Like it was a choice, you just lazily chose to work in a factory at a union job.... or became a fucking rockstar.
>>62185815every poster who says they're a 60yo lawyer or whatever since 1992 is just jebaiting you anyway.
Tried running my own landscaping bizness this year. Zero customers. Oversaturated market, can't compete with Juan working for $2 a hour. Gave up on applying for jobs. Feels like a loosh harvest. I'll Uber and do handy work to get by. >>62184410Property tax will push Americans over the edge, just watch. Evictions will skyrocket.>>62184396I broke my back. Got arthritis in my right hip in my 20s working landscaping + general contracting. Never had benefits. Have no health insurance now. Its so fucking over>>62185164DAS RIIIIGHHTTTT
>>62185829>Like it was a choiceAs the poet once said "If you decide not to decide you still have made a choice."
>>62185702Which is weird right, because not 50 years ago "full employment" meant that EVERYONE who wanted a job had one and was also government policy across much of the western world
>>62184286It's been like this for over 20 years. We haven't had a real president since Bush.
>>62184556>$90k for a "management role">bragging about IQ
Good, majority of people are replaceable and if the evolution of market makes them not needed, they need to perish. This is capitalism and eugenetics working as intended.
>>62186790>majority of peopleeveryone is replaceable.
>>62186168>"full employment" meant that EVERYONE who wanted a job had oneIt has never meant that though. It was obvious as soon as unemployment numbers started being collected that there was a baseline level of unemployment that was unavoidable without resorting to slavery. Also "wanted" is doing a lot of heavy lifting in your claim there without some denotation as to the intensity of the "want". Either you knew this but hoped nobody else would notice, in which case you're a disengenuous little shit, or you didn't notice it in which case you're at least moderately stupid.
>>62186790Cemeteries are full of men who were certain they were irreplaceable.
>>62184556My best friend worked in multiple industries for said cross domain knowledge, but not for a sad 90k in Muttmerica, but 200k in Europe (equivalent to 800k in Muttmerica, but something like 70k net in socialist Europe). Recently unemployed due to the IT company going bust, he exhausted his network, zero job interviews.>>62186790Clearly the people on top are not replaceable due to their superhuman skills. Don't even try, I have a company doing something specialized for luxury real estate. My mother was a social worker dealing with retardation, her clients were way more skilled and grown up than mine are today.
>>62184286Men are checking out of society at an alarming rate and the trend will only continue.

>>62184286Just say you're trans. Once hired you can say you're de transing. Should give you a job in 2 weeks.
>>62187106Relevant already a few years ago
>>62187063>Clearly the people on top are not replaceable due to their superhuman skills. i work at a fortune 10 company. the board fired the CFO and CEO after these "superhumans" blew up the price by being retarded and incompetent. they were replaced in a matter of months. no one is irreplaceable. business talent is largely a retarded meme.
