>4chan is no longer ”it” in any shape or formThank god, after over 10 years i’m finally free to just focus on my own life instead of being obsessed with the zeitgeist of our times. I’m too old now to have the energy to figure out how twitter works too. Finally, i can just dedicate all my time to my own life. I no longer can care about the world.
Youre here forever boomer
>>62191430Nah i no longer feel the need to check this place like before. And i feel like when i check it, i don’t relate to the content and it doesn’t impress me anymore. 4chan has been part of my life for so long but i’m happy to finally be able to just focus on my own life. I’ve followed the world long enough to get the gits of it and know how much more important focusing on one’s own life is.
>>62191427>I’m too old now to have the energy to figure out how twitter worksTwitter has been around for over a decade, you sound kinda retarded
>>62191427I think it has been on a steady decline but I've seen more quality lately than the past 6 years.
>>62191427>>62191430>>62191454>>62191563>>62191584I actually kinda like it here
>>62191563Nah, it's also the fact that i'm done with time sinks that have nothing to do with my own life. And at least with twitter i would need to figure out who is worth following to really be in the zeitgeist. I already had figured 4chan out in my teens, so checking it was always super easy. I've seen as i've grown older how little time there is in our life. You really have to choose how you spend it.
>>62191454See you tomorrow
>>62191454It's kinda shitty now compared to 2016 though
>>62191427I’m 40 with a 5 year old. Been shit posting since 2008-09. As the saying goes, “You’re here forever”.
>>62191599you'll never stop craving. you won't even uninstall 4chanX, so that you can still get notified when someone quotes your dumb little posts.
>>62191430You'd be surprised how much less of a pull this place has when the only thing bringing oldfags back to the yard is just muscle memory and habit.I've been cutting back my time here because quite frankly, there's nothing to fucking do here anymore>dead boards with stagnant threads get no engagement>majority 3rd world users shitposting non sequiturs and ragebait pretending its real content or engagement>reposts of reposts of reposts ad infinitum from OVER A DECADE AGOAnd on and onThere's a direct correlation between my mental health and acuity when I take multi day breaks from this paki and friends izzat farming board, of which are getting longer and longer every time I do it.Thanks hiroshimoot for doing what no government ever could: he killed 4chan. Congrats on your dwindling bank account you whiny ass gook
>>62191454you think you're free but you're just a prisoner at a different prison now. >wife and kids can't triforce post>I can't even
>>62191427>too old now to have the energy to figure out how twitter works tooTrump can use twitter
Hunter S Thompson (dead boomer) once wrote about riding a cresting wave in the 60s that built up over time into a tsunami that redefined culture when it crashed into land. Then the waters pulled back, many were pulled under the sea, and then some tried to ride the next wave, but never unleashed the same feeling again. That is what living with the memory of the 60s was like. I often imagine that is the same feeling I have about 4chan. We already crashed into land. The tide is pulling us back. Some of us are meant to be in the waters, but most are probably better off staying on land.
Musk buying twitter was the last nail in the coffin. People used to come here because you could speak freely as long as you didnt break any laws, but now we have reddit-tier censorship, so everyone who would come here flocked to twitter instead. We’re all here out of old habit and slowly but surely people break out of it and leave. And nobody new is coming to replace us
>>62193969if you enjoy mocking the financially illiterate, this is the best place to find the remaining chainlink holders, ready to get tricked into looking at the chart and finding a long x axis with not a lot of y happening
>>62193901I tried most vanguardist places on the internet and on the darknet. Tried most decentralized board and forums. Tried conspiracy analysts forums. Recently tried dread on Tor. Thing is, when it comes to 4chan, there are smarter places, more active places, but no places that have such an high activity combined with a good enough intellectual level.
>>62191427Valid opinion. The zeitgeist is fake and gay and manufactured rn. It's way better to just go with the flow and buy sandisk and nvidia.
>>62191427i only go on 4chan and youtube, thats literallt rhe only places i go, ben this way since 2008i have no accounts om anything.
>>62191454which ones did you end up getting?
>>62193901Yeah exactly, 4chan defined the next era of culture (internet culture). But all era defining waves come to end.
>>62197311You’re exactly the kind of modern 4channer i’m talking about. Extreme insecurity and fear of humiliation. Probably a pajeet.
>>62191427See you tomorrow, nigger.
>>62191427Only 10 years?Lightweight>t. 24 years
>>62193857I've noticed the internet in general has gotten significantly worse over the past decade and a lot of it has to do with third-worldification. 10, 15, 20 years ago you were only interacting with White, now a lot of the dumb shit/bait that get's posted is from some brown monkey in LatAm, SEA, or India. Desegregation of the internet into a 3rd world favela. It's also more censorious now too which doesn't help.
>>62197897humiliated your mom last night. it was fan fucking tastic
>>62191454Same. I eventually just got tired of this place.
