Come up with bad ideas that you know your employees will hate, but then let them talk you out of them real quick.I do this a lot to create the illusion that I care what they think or do and it really seems to boost morale.Occasionally I'll start doing something really stupid until they say something. This allows them to maintain the dialogue in their head that they are special and needed and "could easily run the place."
