Scaling. AI is a productivity multiplier and cost reducer long-term. Whoever has the best version is going to rule the 21st century and beyond. I know the meme is “I asked chat and it gave me the wrong answer” but that is the exception (also AI still performs better than the average human chud) and anybody who has used AI for high complexity work knows that it can lessen the workload considerably. I don’t think we’ll ever hit singularity, but AI will make running complex problems much easier and will be essentially what unlocks stuff like cost efficient space exploration.

The entire financial system is debt. Stocks are debt. I'm holding a contract that obligates the buyer to pay me cash for my shares at an agreed upon price. But until I sell it's just a debt on a ledger somewhere. If there's debt there's somebody on the other side making money and it's not like that money vanishes or gets burned. They likely reinvest it.

Today was a good metal day, all the DNN and LAC i stacked yesterday went up 6-7%

I do not deal with shorts or futures but if i did i would be looking very closely at the Chinese copper market. Before the war demand was a bit down but they had to expand production anyway since 1/3rd of their income came from Sulphur byproducts, since the war it is more like half. When the gulf opens the Saudis will dump their Sulphur and the Chinese copper sector is screwed, when the price tanks they will have to sell copper on a flooded market possibly below cost.

it's a personality disorder. haughtiness or contrarianism makes them defy what they hear in the news, paranoia and suspicion keeps them from buying in, a chip on their shoulder from being hurt in the markets or some other perceived injustice. it becomes a moral crusade for them and not a profit seeking exercise.

Its not uncommon for me to see 30k+ on any given day.
Of course it works in the reverse too, so its not uncommon to see down days like that too. Pretty crazy to look at your port and realize you gained/lost a fourth of your yearly pay in a single day.
On REALLY good/bad days you will see those six figures. You get really good at being steely about gains/losses because the numbers are huge even if the percentages can be small.
I mean think about it. At 1 million even a regular ass 2% day is life changing money for any normal wagie.

>At 3:40 AM ET today, nearly 10,000 contracts worth of crude oil shorts were taken without any major news.

I read the thread, and some redditers did try to backtest it, and I think some of the combinations were actually accurate with statistical significance, but it depended on what time of the evening you checked futures.

My name is David SOXL. I’m 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I’ll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a David SOXL. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

That wasn't him though that did that. He still took away trans athletes out of women's scholarships and sports. We were finally getting to a point where it was acceptable to watch men beat women in front of everyone again and it was based as fuck. I don't care if it's a mentally ill dude doing it at the end of the day but it takes balls to put women in their place.

>>62199329
Take it from me who used to have 250k, that shit is not sustainable. Especially if you are still on the whim of the market where you can just lose a lot of money and all you can do is just continue to sell a little bit off every time just to pay for bills and groceries. It does not matter how much you think you can passively make back.

My rule of thumb is whenever I hear my coworkers talk about stocks at my burger flipping job is when I need to get the fuck out.

I have one coworker who is apparently making 1k a week at least trading futures and he only works 2 days a week now. I find that hard to believe myself though
>>
>>62199561
Unfortunately, 250k is not enough to quit your day job. You need enough money to live off of dividends or to the point where you can set up your own trust...

That being said eventually coca cola and microsoft bonds will be worth more than the bonds of any country as countries become more insolvent.
>>
>>62199572

You should because people over brag about their successes and stay quiet about their failures yet at the same time that isn't that crazy at all in this day and age. How old are you? Have you done options at all?
>>
>>62199556
