Currently working a fulltime job making $113k a year. I'm able to save half my income. What kind of thing is worth doing to make more money at this level? So far just dumping as much as I can to index funds and taking up overtime when I can
>>62201976>dumping as much as I can to index funds and taking up overtime when I canGreat job. Minimize expenses to have more money to save and invest. Have emergency savings "cash and cash equivelatns" (cash, a little physical silver and gold, high yield savings account, and some vanguard ETFs with low expenses. You can invest some in a more aggressive fund like VGT (check the last five years) or VOO, or others you like. Once you have enough cash in your bank and taxable brokerage account pile as much as you can into your work 401(k) - see if employer offers any contribution match, or if no employer 401k then open your own IRA. In your 401k/IRA you can open a brokerage account and self direct your investments there too to maximize growth (more vanguard ETFs, and once you have a decent amount you take a small % and play individual stocks but nothing to crazy - try to pick a few that are likely to really rip this year or next so the potential loss is only what you bought, but the potential gain (tax free) is 2x-10x, then sell the rip and buy more ETFs with the profits and repeat. Look at compounding interest, the power of compounding accelerate with continued contributions. You are working towards your financial freedom anon, you can do it. It really pays off to start early and let it grow for 20/30 years. Eat healthy, moderate exercise, you will live long and be financially well off.
