I was offered a job slaughtering chickens at a butchering facility, one day a week, $15/hr, or $362/month after taxes. I was interested but it would have meant losing my Medicaid and EBT benefits ($292/mo). There's really no point in working unless you're earning $35-50/hr full time, at a minimum.
