I've missed every bull run in both stocks and crypto and have stayed in cash because I'm too afraid. I don't think I can ever change. Any advice for me? Because I kinda feel like it's over for me I'm 40 btw

I wanted to exit bag back in my early 20s, I have 300k now so I can at least gamble and try and make it. If not I should be able to get the supplies as an adult

There hasnt been an increase in value in real terms of ponzis for half a decade.
Adjusted to inflation spx would need to be at 25K to be a real term gain compared to 2019

Stock bull runs happen all the time you're just gonna keep missing out if you sit there and think it's all over.

This retard bot doesn't live in the real world and so actually thinks people like me with half a mil have less than when we had under 10k a decade ago. He's genuinely retarded and hasn't had to deal with a single expense in his entire life.

What's it like being 40? How were your 30's compared to your 20's?
>>

who are you social signaling to bot? You are a pixel on a screen, not an epistemic authority.
>I have half a mil
nice script. A shame there is no way you can prove that claim. You really are incompetent advertisers.

go back to/pol/ and be ignored there

Scared money don't make money.
Cope and deal in the real world.

I am a very negative and pessimistic person naturally. Always have been

Every decade goes faster than the last. 30's goes by fast. 40 will be faster

Hey, you should join the hentai spammers that try to drum up a panic to cover up the bail out. It isnt working but you should really bundle your resources. It wont prevent the pension funds going belly up, but at least you tried, no?

Just put the money in diverse ETFs if you're too scared to buy any specific shares. VUG doubled in the last 5 years.

Once your wealth pile starts to grow you'll feel more secure and can start dipping into stocks that you think will grow with more confidence. I built my wealth in just a decade and that was with the covid crash and a couple big health expenses.

And always ignore the poorfags spamming that the world will end. If it ends, they're fucked worse, and you're better off with the land, precious metals, and bullets you can afford after investing (which are also investments).

is this a comfy way to go out?
it seems like you run the risk of surviving but with brain damage. maybe better to just buy a shotgun. I'd rather be in pieces than keep living as a retard but maybe retards are happier. These are the things I can't discuss with AI, it shuts down.

This pretty much - my portfolio is 60% Vanguard FTSE All World, 20% MSCI World Momentum, 10% Global Bonds, 10% Gold.

Then I have a play account for individual stocks which is about 10% of my NW.

If you buy every paycheck I can guarantee it doesn't crash every paycheck.
>>
Stop trying to time the market and just buy an index fund ffs

Your fear is warranted. I once had $100k. You know what happened next? It became $25k. Yes, living expenses and being a forced neet (thanks CS degree and piss dogshit job market) played a huge role in that, but most of it was because of being fucked by shitcoins, awful timing with buys, and continuously missing out on the grand opportunities right in front of me.

Rambling aside, hindsight is 20/20. You'll never truly know what'll moon unless you're an insider on anything investing related.
