What backdoor plays are you prior to the SpaceX IPO?I've got Redwire (RDW) and EchoStar (SATS) currently, both doing well. Also unsure when the right exit point will be.
>>62210871You're either part of the crew or not. You are not
>>62210960Can you elaborate? The two I've mentioned have done well for me since last fall.
>>62210871ASTS, you just missed the dip. Earnings after close Monday
I'm holding rocketlab which is just spacex without the elon baggage. They launch satellites for europe or something, I've had some good returns on it.I think the spacex IPO is gonna be a psychotic rug like trump coin so I'm gonna slurp the post-ipo post-crash dip on that one or just ignore it.
>>62211820this shows just how dumb people are about spacexrklb is great and i've made a lot of money of it but it's nothing compare to spacexneutron will be like a falcon 9, which spacex is launching 3 times a week and is used for ISS crew and cargo by nasathen starship might be a year or so away from launching frequentlywatch flight 12 on fridaybut in terms of rklb, i do think a high spacex valuation is going to put a lot of eyes on them. but they do make most of their money from satellites
>>62210871I have 938 shares of Spacex from when I worked on Starlink in the early days so I currently have between $700k and $850k invested directly. SATS is probably the best direct Spacex analog since the stock literally only trades on Spacex news. There's a new actively managed ETF called NASA that I'm quite fond of. Their largest holding is Spacex but they also hold Rocketlab, EchoStar, AST Spacemobile, and a bunch of other companies.

>>62212464Funny you mention that anon, I have a good high school friend that has worked for years (and continues to work) on Starlink. He lives in Seattle, one the of the brightest guys I know, and he's not said anything about his total vest but I expect he'll be a multimillionaire overnight with all this.
>>62212690Yeah it's crazy. I've heard they significantly cut back on stock options and the ESPP program in recent years but anyone who worked there for more than a couple years before 2021 is basically set for life if they never sold. The number of random technicians who worked on F9 in the early days who are gonna blow their money on lambos and hookers is gonna be crazy lol
