tfw you drive to work at 4am because you wanted to be funny in high school
I don't understand the point of these threads that feel like they're from 20 years ago>"JUST GET A DEGREE BRO"Has not been how it works for over a decade. No one cares if you were funny in hs. In fact being a funny guy with a rich friend mogs having any kind of credential as female HR womanchild will seethe and not hire the qualified candidate anyway.

If you can consider some vocational paths (e.g., welding, HVAC specialist, electrician, plumber, etc.). Research the pathways, the cost to the pathways (monetary and in terms of opportunity cost (like what you might have to give up)), and the payoffs. The payoffs can be really high if after a couple of years you start your own company, act as an honest broker, which leads to your network increasing. People want skilled tradespeople who can actually fix their problem and not ignore them when the customer calls again about how something is not working. Ask Claude to do the research for you. I recommend the trades because they have low debt (likely), a decent payout, and are unlikely to be automated away. AI is likely to be the China shock for white-collar workers.
