I‘ve been working hard and trying my absolute best for my whole life and I dont feel like getting closer to the dream of being financially free and living the life I wish for.
I work two Jobs, Invest my free time in Books and other ways to gain Knowledge. I run every two days, Hit the gym, eat well.
But I dont See Progress at all.
I dont have Family, no Friends.
I have a girlfriend but I feel Like dirt around her since I’ve got 35k debt. At 25.
I earn 3-4K a month but I can’t afford anything for the past 6 years.
Last year i had my first vacation and After seeing how great life could be I slowly started losing my mind.
What the fuck do I do now?

Holy goycattle psyop. Stop "working hard". This is pure cattle de goy. Insinuate yourself into a wealthy setting of some kind and befriend the people there. They will eventually open doors. Literally just pull a Talented Mr Ripley. The world is made out of people, not knowledge.

Stop complaining like a little bitch, and see all the good in your life. You have gainful employment. You have a girlfriend. You're young. Your debt is pretty small in the grand scheme of things.

Just work hard. Live well well beneath your means. That may mean no vacations out the local area for a decade or two. Share expeneses with your girlfriend by moving in together. Better yet you and girfriend should move in with your or her parents (if possible) for couple of years, stack cash, and invest the cash.

Getting into negative state of mind will do nothing to change your reality.

I’m not complaining. Just stating that I’m stuck and asking for advice from people with the right knowledge. Obviously I’m doing something wrong so I probably shouldn’t just keep doing what I’ve been doing. But thanks for your advice mate

How are you 35k in debt and working two jobs
>>

Lost two friends, had big problems with a crazy girl and my father’s drinking got so bad I let go of the contact. Got into drugs and alcohol again, lost my license, discovered stocks, saw hope, gained a lot, lost even more. Started to spiral. Only doing small long term investments now. Don’t think my mind is in any position to handle anything volatile. Started working two jobs this year

This is good self-reflection. For someone not seeking volatility or wanting to actively manage their portfolio, investing in common ETFs like the S&P 500 or Nasdaq is a solid choice. A portfolio could look something like this: 20%-40% in gold (ETFs like IAU) as a hedge against inflation and a savings-like asset, 10%-20% in cash via money markets (Vanguard offers 3.3%), and the rest in something like VOO or VT (world ETF). You could also add a specific sector ETF if you have strong conviction, such as semiconductors. Invest consistently every month.

All of this assumes your debt interest rate isn’t excessively high. If it’s above 8%, prioritize paying it off first and not investing as you are unlikely to get higher returns in the market, given historical data and considering how expensive the stock market is right now. For multiple loans with varying rates, start with the highest interest loan regardless of the amount—even if it’s $1—as that’s mathematically optimal.

Life is about opportunity costs, so aim to minimize them as much as possible.

If you can consider some vocational paths (e.g., welding, HVAC specialist, electrician, plumber, etc.). Research the pathways, the cost to the pathways (monetary and in terms of opportunity cost (like what you might have to give up)), and the payoffs. The payoffs can be really high if after a couple of years you start your own company, act as an honest broker, which leads to your network increasing. People want skilled tradespeople who can actually fix their problem and not ignore them when the customer calls again about how something is not working.

Ask Claude to do the research for you. I recommend the trades because they are low debt (likely), a decent payout, and are unlikely to be automated away. AI is likely to be the China shock for white-collar workers.

>what am I doing wrong, gice?

Damn bro, you have good ideas. Mind if I toss my problems at you?

I want to start a media company (and then later specialist food growing company), but really, I have skills in neither and work customer service.

My wife's parents are well off and bought us a house + she will get a nice inheritance, and I will get a decent one as well.

So we have a house with no mortgage, no debt at all, two kids, hopefully a third soon.

Because I didn't earn any of this through work, I feel like I can't even advance. And I want to take risks, but also fear fucking this up since it was all given to me, and I haven't proven I can create it... I think I can pull it off if I just put my willpower into it.

Anyway, thanks for reading, I'll stop bitching about the good life, I just needed to say this "aloud".

Sound like you're pretty comfortable but ...

>Because I didn't earn any of this through work, I feel like I can't even advance
... you have a mental discomfort from knowing a lot of this was handed to you. I cannot help you with that. Personally, I have little issue in using my network to get ahead and comfortable. Personally, my terminal goal in life is have a fulfilled life from the perspective of present and future selves, and work for is just a way to accumulate resources in order to achieve other things (e.g., family, seeing the world, having fun). I think you optimizing for safety and spending time with your kids is not a bad strategy, but I’m not you.

This will be really, really hard IMO. I’m not exactly sure what you mean by media company and food growing company, but if by media company you are talking about a marketing type firm then it will be really hard to break in. There are already established marketing / media companies and a lot of that work might go away because of AI. Furthermore, the people who likely make it as one-man show company are skilled people in the industry that left a big company to start their own firm using their skills and network. Regarding the food company, I took courses on restaurants in college (I know it’s exactly the same thing), and what I learned is the restaurant industry is brutal because you have a ton of competition, customers are unwilling to pay high costs for food as they rightly view it as an undifferentiated commodity. Food is brutal low-margin work. It requires really, really careful planning (e.g., costing).

Personally, leveraging your skills to offer real value is likely to be more successful. You say you have skills in customer service. Personally, I do not think AI will replace all customer service roles immediately, rather you will see a single skilled customer service employee handling multiple simultaneous tickets / customers (maybe 3-10x more). The AI handles the basic stuff like customer ID verification, and attempts to resolve simple things. Maybe you could create some type of program or process that allows skilled employees to handle that. You would need to play around with the AI to see where it fails (e.g., giving promos or discounts that do not exist) or succeeds (e.g., basic ID verification). Your first customer could be your current employer.

Even if you did you only get a couple decades, maybe more before your body starts failing and existential dread kicks in.

I heard medical coding could be a comfy career and then I looked at what they get paid and noped out of there. Bust your ass to learn and maintain specialized knowledge and make as much as somebody starting out at McDonalds.

Already on the way out thanks to AI.

I think you're correct about the media company being hard. It isn't exactly as you describe because I don't want to dox myself. Regarding food, I have an idea that involves specialty foods and a little plan to have a first customer at low price (myself, being a restaurant that purchases the food + high end sellers)

The customer service thing is sort of what I'm doing now.

At any rate, thanks for your two cents, it's much appreciated.
