The modern public education system is very obviously about supporting and conditioning wageslaving. For starters the needlessly (agonizingly for children) long school day is just about babysitting the kids of workers while they work their 8-5. Then there is the nature of the learning, it's like they handpick the most mind numbingly boring curriculums and lesson styles to force the kid's brain into accepting that life is about doing boring busywork and makework repetitively every day until they die. Things like recess and gym class are a very short lived, hellish taste of what could be. Then it's back to getting schoolmarmed on things for which 95% you will never use again. The kicker is that the entirety of the work could be condensed down into 2 hours per day. I know this for a fact having done homeschool in grades 1-6, I'd knock my shit out in 1 hour per day then game and play the rest of the day. When state testing came around I would still score 95th percentile again public schoolers.

there is a "happy" middle ground of raising a farmable neo-feudal livestock and providing just barely enough incentive/entertainment to keep the machine running. we are starting to see sigma types and sassy influencers spewing vitriol, but with a bit of Palantir's help they're a manageable minority
