I am new to both DEXes,

do I really have to convert my BTC to USDC to trade on Hyperliquid? I am mainly interested in a good and easy DEX with mobile app/support, should I go with Aster or Hyperliquid?
>>
Hyperliquid has more liquidity and trading pairs. I also know of at least one trading bot that easily integrates with Hyperliquid.

Thanks, is there a way to trade perps with BTC as a collateral or am I forced to convert it to USDC first?

only usdc

There is already margin portfolio. If you have more than 10k in btc + usdc, you can use it to trade.

>Portfolio Margin
>For advanced users who want greater flexibility and capital efficiency. All trading is unified across spot and perps. Eligible collateral assets such as HYPE can be used directly as collateral for perp positions without converting to the settlement asset. Collateral assets earn or pay interest depending on whether they are at rest or actively borrowed to open positions.
Yes, you can use your btc as collateral. They rolled it up like 2 months ago

Both are not really defi.
Thorchain actually is and Monero is just live. Cross chain swaps, actual defi.
>Aster
What a fucking joke how much is that chink paying you?

is edgeX any good or whatever it's called

better tech and lower fees than hype, so if you're going to invest then buy HYPE because the average 'investor' is retarded and doesn't buy second-movers that are better.
