Y axis is in points on NQ. White line is combined blend, other lines are each individual strategy I use. My main question is at the bottom below the dashed line, so you can skip all of this text if you want.

Is anyone here good with statistics or math? Idk the correct field that would apply here, some math shit.
I’ve been working on a strategy for years at this point, but I’ve been focused on a single thing for about the last half year. I’ve back tested it till 2020 and its results are the photo. I wanted to use it with prop firms to make some cash since the potential profit with them is way higher than using my own cash, but the drawdowns are too severe. And prop firms are hella strict on their drawdowns.
I’ve run the math and if I scale down enough to where I can trade without blowing up my account, at the rate of withdrawals and taxes and splits, I’d be working for nothing. Min wage basically. And if I scale up then I just blow up accounts due to drawdown. I don’t care about profit either. I need smoothness. Even if I take a major hit in points, so long as it becomes smoother that’s still fine since I can just scale up on prop firms.

It’s basic metrics right now are
WR: 53.78%
Profit Factor: 1.36
Trades Per Day: 8.33

There’s a lot more data but that’s the gist.
The strategy is a blend so it’s RR varies, but it’s pretty close to 1:1RR

—————————-
Here’s my main question: the strategy currently averages 8 trades a day. That’s a lot. Surely I can cut that down to 1-2 and increase the winrate right, therefore increasing its smoothness right? Surely. I’ve tried a lot of things but I’ve failed all analytical approaches. I’ve done a lot of digging and I think I’m just out of my element here.

I think my request is gonna fall on deaf ears but I’m hopeful. Maybe someone earnest and smarter than me can help.
