is there any point in reading the news?you hear a lot 'if it's in the press, its in the price'but does that mean reading news is pointless?I always read a shit ton of articles every day based on some shit that happened to my grandpa which i internalized >gramps read whole newspaper everyday >is invested in Bre-X, along with bunch of golf buddies >gets bad feeling based on some built-up intuition from reading news>pulls his money out, friends call him crazy>revealed to be massive scam a week laterhe attributed this foresight to his daily news reading

>>62220609Your grandpa is right. Having an awakened third teste is important when trading without any technical insights or insider info. This is something <85 IQers naturally develop, along with a psychopathic conviction.
>>62220609reading things from a reputable source helps your credibility.i think most people who say news are fake just get their news from random robots instead with dated information
>>62223425This but also if you read hobbist stuff you can find up and coming things that may IPO and yada yada. Overall TOO much news is bad and the news is a lot of doom and gloom/trash. Don't be a boomer and believe the TV only
Schizo grandpas are the best traders

>>62223469>>62223817that's the main "modern" skill old people never developed in time, being able to filter noisethat's why they will answer every scam call and email with full conviction. so is there any news site sub actually worth it anyone find? i try to use chatgpt to summarize paywalled stuff, sometimes works used to have a few tools to get over paywalls but a lot have stopped working recently
>>62220609It's good to know what the latest psyops are so you can make plays off of them. If you read to be 'informed' you were already ngmi.
>>62220609Depends who you are and what you do.Lots of normies really should read the news a lot LESS. Read history books MORE.If you're a day trader then understanding rapidly breaking stuff is important. Same if you're a politician or a Fortune 500 CEO. But loads of normal people don't really benefit from the soap opera of 24/7 news. Taking time instead to learn topics and only occasionally reviewing news (ideally news that's a month or a year past) is probably better.
>>62223980i get my news from telegram, newspapers and 4ch but desu its higher roi to read financial history.what tools do u use 4 paywalls?
No point really. All media exists to manipulate you to benefit powerful people, not to inform you.
