>On the other side, the competing offers focus either on the aerospace sector or on the automotive sector. Clayens (projected revenue of 610 million euros in 2025, with 4,800 employees worldwide) has submitted a bid to acquire Vision Systems. This French engineering group has made aerospace a key strategic growth area, having completed approximately twenty corporate acquisitions over the past fifteen years. It plans to retain 152 employees and states that it will finance the necessary working capital and investment requirements for the takeover using its own equity—though no specific figures were cited in the offer document reviewed. Well-established in the growing market for cabin refurbishment—whether for wide-body aircraft or business jets—the Swiss firm Amac and the French company UDDS have each independently positioned themselves to acquire Vision Systems. The latter (1,190 employees and €102 million in revenue projected for 2025) has proposed retaining the 194 employees and injecting €15 million in equity capital by 2029, with the potential for an additional €30 million. "The company possesses solid expertise in designing and manufacturing high value-added products, but lacks the necessary resources to produce them on a large scale," states UDDS in its bid. Its strategy focuses notably on insourcing a portion of the manufacturing currently outsourced by Vision Systems, expanding after-sales services, and "building up inventories of catalog items at economical production costs." To regain the confidence of aircraft manufacturers, UDDS is considering exclusivity agreements based on firm delivery deadlines.

A Tier 1 supplier to Airbus, the Auvergne-based group Rexiaa (667 employees and €76 million in revenue in 2024) has also positioned itself to acquire the group's crown jewel.

A bunch of companies including Tata are bidding for one of Gauzy subsidiaries when it has been secret this whole time

They have 95% market share of cockpit shading safety systems

Planes can not take off without this tech

In addition to a holding company with 48 employees dedicated to support functions, Vision Lite is divided into two entities: Vision Systems and Safety Tech. The former (195 employees; €29.6 million in revenue in 2023) claims, notably, over 95% of the global market for cockpit sun protection systems.

>Although these certified products do not account for the majority of its revenue, without them, commercial airliners (B777, A350, etc.) and business jets (Falcon 900, 5X, etc.) cannot take off. The subsidiary also manufactures dimmable windows and cabin shades.

The group’s second entity, Safety Tech (144 employees; €28.3 million in revenue), manufactures smart mirrors and driver assistance systems for cars, trucks, and buses. It boasts 10,000 equipped vehicles worldwide and holds bespoke contracts with prestigious brands, such as Ferrari.

I've experienced the difference in how banks treat you when you're broke, or have a little money, have an average amount of money and have a significant amount of money.

If you have enough money, your bank will have people be your financial advisers, and figure out ways to do anything you want to do with your money. If you have 10 million dollars or more, and talk to your bank rep, and tell him something like
>yeah, I'm looking to buy some OpenAI shares
They will jump on that shit and find a way to get them for you. Or really anything financial as long as it's not illegal.
or tell them you're looking to get into some venture capital and they'll be on it for you.
>>
>>62223763
But why do you have a ton of money stored in your bank? Or are your investments linked to your bank somehow?
>>
>>62223768
you understand that investments are held in a bank? Unless you want physical stock certificates lol then they can get those for you too if you ask lol

My investments are most definitely not held in a bank, they're in an investment management company. My credit union only sees my incoming money and my lines of credit. They have zero idea what my investment account looks like. They've met with me twice to try and convince me to switch to using them for investing but it has never been worth it.

I guess most people just invest through their bank though?

If you had a lot of money you wouldn't have to use a secondary service for investing. Your primary bank would handle it all. Even if they don't advertise brokerage services. Any bank can hold securities on their books, and depending on the bank, they can do the brokering themselves, or use a third party brokerage exchange to process the transaction.

You don't make enough money to even be able to afford a mortgage on house, let it alone buy one. 500k minimum, and even that is still too low. I would even look into mortgaging a house until you have at least 750k net worth.

Work for 10 years put every single dime in S&P 500 ETF and then well see after you have close to 500k+.

Wealth is when you have a high paying job and you're contributing 35k a year.

>I need like 40,000 to fund doing engineering degree
if you can get a scholarship that pays for the degree from a good to decent school then an engineering degree can be worth the time and effort, but can you still work while going to school? If you cant get a full scholarship and have to pay yourself its not worth it because colleges just jacked up the tuition fees so they can pay themselves (professors and administrators) fat salaries and benefits and you will be student debt loan forever. How did you make your money now, how much more can you make (what is the limit and why is there a limit), what other better paying jobs can you get. Defense industries are hiring, oil comanies, construction, how about the trades like electrician, plumber, some fat government job a water or sanitation plant?

Save your money and invest in vanguard ETFs like VOO, VGT and watch your money grow. Also open and IRA if your work does not have a 401k, but have enough cash in your taxable brokerage account that you can live off of if you need to. Keep your expenses low, you will make it.

I can say after doing both, youd probably make more money, with less time, money and liabilities driving uber in a major city.

The calculations I ended up with were the same about .40-.70 per mile driving for either career depending 9n fuel, expenses, location.
