How is there a labour shortage if you apply on indeed and there's 2000 people applying for the same job? For every 300 jobs you apply you get 1 interview and they act like you've giving an interview for the position of the CEO of a transnational mega corporation. Why are they so fucking picky if there's a labour shortage? I remember giving a interview to be a bus boy and I told the interviewer that I thought I'd find the job easy and he got angry and said it was very difficult job. I never got called back. I worked a dead end job for 2 years and somehow I got it while applying for another job initially. You had to be able to work between anytime from 5am to 1am and work 60 hours a week and almost everyone working there was an asylum seeker living in hotels who had come on student visas. They were all planning on either saving up enough money and then going back to their countries or planned on entering the US illegally and getting bank loans (free money) from american banks. I quit the job since it was going no where and I needed a better paying job. Now I'm looking for a job for the summer before I start my last year of college but I am reminded of how fucked the job market is.

>>62224230who told you there was a labor shortage
>>62224247The government telling me the reason for why we have mass migration. Apparently it's due to a labour shortage.
>>62224252there's a labor shortage of farm workers, meat processors, etc. jobs that you won't do.
>>62224230There is no shortage, the corporations just want to pay less for labor so they get the government to flood the market with turd worlders.>>62224271I'd pack meat for the right price, problem is they don't wanna pay that price. If I offered you the job of sucking my dick for $5 a day, and you refused, suddenly there's a labor shortage.
>>62224278>the right priceyou mean the market price?
There's a skilled labor shortage and it makes things annoying in the blue collar world. But it's also very lucrative if you have the skills and an ounce of financial discipline.

>>62224410>skilled labor shortageIn what fields?
This is why we need Indian CEOs.
When hiring managers start getting luigi'd, things will get better.
>>62224442the fields that won;'t hire you because the flip side of skilled labor and experience shortages is businesses refusing to hire and train more labor.
>>62224410>But it's also very lucrative if you have the skills and an ounce of financial discipline.so which blue collar jobs are paying $150k/yr for a 40 hour work week?
There isn't a labour shortage, it's called obscuring the start of a depression.
>>62224391"The market price" isn't the price of the job being done in bangladesh you illiterate third worlder. The market price is how much the job is worth in the country it's being offered. That's why companies are basically lying to the SEC to run a massive fraud/pyramid scheme to draw in as many migrants who will work for that price as possible.
>>62224410The "Skilled labor shortage" is again based on fraud and malcontent. Their labor shortage is that you won't work for third worlder prices, nor should you. So they lie to the SEC to claim they are suffering a labor shortage so they can get H1Bs to do the job, and then everything falls apart because their job experience is fraudulent as well.
>>62225251fuck off commiethe market is the market. wages are subject to market rates>NOOO YOU HAVE TO PAY ME MORE BECAUSE... YOU JUST HAVE TO, OKAY?>GIBS ME DATi am going to drop you from a helicopter
It is within the interest of a company to always say that there's a labor shortage. If you don't know why this is, you need to think a bit harder.
>>62228510You're being dishonest. Mass immigration is class warfare. It's an intentional saturation of the labor market to depress wages and increase the margins of the ruling class.
>>62228761>class warfareIts race warfare.
