LBMA had also suspended the same two companies following a modified assurance opinion, issued by SLR Consulting Ltd., for its FY2025 Responsible Silver Compliance Report.

LBMA suspended them on the 8 May 2026.

Nope. It just means that these 2 chinese silver refineries has lapses in their supply chain due diligence, compliance, and ethical sourcing standards under the LBMA Responsible Silver Guidance, i.e. forced child labor, silver from conflict regions, etc.

Nothing to do with purity of metals.
